pnabev (1) - North Hollywood, California, USA - SEP 30, 2006 does not count Clear yellow with a thin white head. Sweet malty aroma, medium bodied, ends slightly sweet.

JesseM (1169) - Margaritaville, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 28, 2008500mL bottle from the LCBO, clear glass and labelled at 4.5% ABV, I’ll trust that this is it. One of the most unique caps I’ve ever come across. Has a tab that you pull up and it pulls the whole cap off for you, very cool. Well, I wasn’t expecting much, and to be totally honest, I got more than was expecting. Surprisingly no skunk despite the clear glass bottle, which is a very good sign. Nice sweet malty character defines this one, with a very mild hop presence in the finish. No off flavours at all, which may indicate that it is in fact an all-malt lager as it claims to be, which is definitely a good thing! A slight lemoney aspect is quite evident too. Nothing spectacular, but it made a hell of a good lawn-mowing beer. I’d gladly drink this again and again on such a hot day. Bottling date is within this month so thankfully my bottle is quite fresh, especially for something coming all the way from Moscow.
tone77 (256) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 17, 2012Pours a light golden color. Smell is of malts, slightly sweet. Taste is crisp, malts and grains, some sweetness. Overall a tasty and enjoyable lager.
Boystout (1000) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - FEB 28, 2003UPDATED: JAN 5, 2005 Bottled. Pale crisp beer with delicate Muscat notes both in aroma and palate. Lovely fizzy and drinkable.
Braudog (8842) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - MAR 13, 2004Ochakovo Lager; nice-looking lagery golden beer with thin head. Starchy aroma. Smooth and extra malty, a bit sweet but not as cornstarchy as some of the worse imports. Decent lager.
GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 29, 2008Bottle from the LCBO with a crazy-ass peel-off cap - that’s certainly a first for me. Straw yellow-gold colour with a decent sized white head that settles to a thin layer of foam, and a constant stream of bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma - I expected this to be skunked out the wazoo due to the clear bottle, but I was pleasantly surprised - the aroma was mellow but pleasant, with notes of grainy malt with a slightly sweet edge and some herbal hops. Medium bodied with a nice mouthfeel. Flavour is as much of a surprise as the aroma - fresh malt off the top, a bit of bread dough and honey, some lemony notes, and a mildly bittered finish. A perfectly serviceable summer lager that I’d be happy to drink again.
johndoughty (7983) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 23, 2007Clear bottle. Yellow with no head and left no lacing.Slightly bitter with a very strange texture. Not the worst beer I have had but wouldn’t try it again-ever!
Gusler (2653) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - DEC 15, 2003UPDATED: NOV 17, 2007 The beer exits the 500ml clear bottle a pale gold with a bright white creamy two fingered head that disappears leaving the lace to form a thin veil on the glass. Nose prototypical lager, front, conventional, top customary, finish pedestrian, aftertaste as expected, light and refreshing, and better than many beers I’ve sampled.
