The Kimberley Brewery was founded by Samuel Robinson in 1832. The brewery was bought by the Hardy family in 1857. Hardy’s brewery merged with their rivals the Hansons brewery in 1930. In 2006, Greene King acquired the company and closed the brewery. The surviving brands are brewed in Bury St Edmunds.
