Oakham is the label that still always excites me when I see it on the bar. Dark Star is another name that I find it almost impossible to walk away without trying. |

Not so marvelous is the Brodies listings on Ratebeer - getting a little messy. The Pecan Brown and Calypso Pale are duplicates of the Brew Wharf beers. The single hop pales are now doubling up as London Fields Pales (seen them served both ways) |

Yeah, I’ve sent a few suggested corrections to the admins on some of the Brodies beers. Could use a little tidying up. |

I’ve never liked JJJ, and a mate of mine summed it up perfectly for me recently - "too American", spot on! Too boozy, too much crystal malt which overshadows the hops... probably their worst beer for my money.
Now So’Hop is something else, proper new-wave UK pale ale; "awesome" as I think you’re supposed to say on here. |
