Hello I’m trading Cantillon for Other Half beers. I’m posting UK to NYC. Never done this before. Looking for advice on labelling the package. I’ve been told ’collectable glassware’ ’yeast samples’ Has anyone got any tips? Thanks Also I have more gueuze / lambic to trade. Beersel Green Walnut. Collectible glassware on the declaration has always worked for me. Yeast Samples sounds a bit bizarre and therefore it might catch the eye of a customs inspector, so I’d avoid using that. Keep your parcels as small and lightweight as possible. Large heavy parcels attract more attention and are more likely to get damaged. Additionally -- Declare the items as gifts with a dollar value of about $25.00. Post using an expedited service, like two day shipping. Its more expensive, but the faster it gets in and out of the mail carriers hands the less likely it is to get broken. good luck

That doc, btw, says the opposite:
"Fragile stickers are a surefire way to guarantee your box is treated as poorly as possible."

Hmmm, might be right. On the other side only had like 2-3 bottles in 30 ish boxes that were broken so far vs outgoing, I usually label them...

Fragile stickers and markings are pretty much ignored, add them if it makes you feel good.
