Oh, man. This is exciting, and I really want to go, but "cigar package"? |
I’m kinda curious now -- does anyone else either enjoy or not enjoy being surrounded by cigar smokers while at a tasting, for those of you that have experienced this type of event? |
I do not enjoy cigar smoke at any time, actually, much less at a beer event - and especially one in relatively small quarters. |
Originally posted by Indra I like to smoke a cigar every once in a while, but I wouldn’t do it while trying to taste beers. When I’m smoking a cigar, I actually prefer some red wine, port or bourbon to beer. |
I am with Eric on this one, cigars in tight quarters would probably keep me away from this event. |
I like cigars. I like beer. I like smoking cigars with certain types of beer. I like vice. |
I like turtles. Also I would prefer a particular area for all kinds of smoking but it’s not like people never smoked cigars at a beer festival until they had the option to buy one with their tickets. I wouldn’t expect this to be any better or worse than the 99% of outdoor festivals that don’t ban smoking. |
Diebel’s is great, you should check it out some time. |
No cigar, please |
Also meant to add - regardless of format, thank you Randyl for doing this event. A great add to the KC beer calendar. |
