Please, please, please keep the cigar smokers sequestered from anyone that is there to actually sniff and taste the beers. Please. Don’t ruin it for those of us that cannot fucking stand smelling cigars all day instead of being able to properly taste the beers. Please.

Message asatterlund beers 1 º 06:33 Mon 10/24/2011 I do not enjoy cigar smoke at any time, actually, much less at a beer event - and especially one in relatively small quarters. I’ve seen places that do like a ’cigar tent’ though and that seems to work fairly well.

I like to smoke a cigar every once in a while, but I wouldn’t do it while trying to taste beers. When I’m smoking a cigar, I actually prefer some red wine, port or bourbon to beer.

Also I would prefer a particular area for all kinds of smoking but it’s not like people never smoked cigars at a beer festival until they had the option to buy one with their tickets. I wouldn’t expect this to be any better or worse than the 99% of outdoor festivals that don’t ban smoking. True story, I didn’t know what Diebel’s was and almost bought those tickets because I figured for $45, they must be better somehow.
