6 more breweries have been added to the line up. Check them out at http://beerkc.com/beerfest/strong-ale/

Nice. Is there going to be an advance beer list? No worries either way, just curious.

I haven’t decided yet. I know which beers will be served, but I might make them a surprise.

As long as there’s at least one barrel aged imperial pumpkin Berliner Weiss I’ll be happy.

I’m sure we’ll be able to swing that!

How is a double pale ale different from an IIPA, DIPA again? I want to say the explanation is less malty so double pale ale is a euphemism for "awesome West Coast style beer"?

This beer finished on the sweeter side and is not dry hopped. We felt that to be an IPA, there must be dry hopping.

Double Pales don’t want to be associated with India or anything related in imperialism.

Jeremy pretty much summed it up, this beer is a high gravity beer with the balance and hop flavor more like a traditional pale ale than an IPA or DIPA.

*See Blvd 21st Anniversary for another example of Double Pale.

Jeremy, since it is not dry hopped does that mean we won’t be seeing any double pale nutsack from you?
