Message Leighton P beers 33739 º places 1204 º 02:58 Tue 3/6/2012 If people wanted to keep the gathering to two days you could probably do a pub crawl around Bratislava in the afternoon and the GT in the evening (depending on how late the hosting venue stays open). This way a Sunday departure is pretty easy. Also, the dates for the Great British Beer Festival are August 7-11, so I would suggest no RBESG the week before or after this. As I said previously, personally I would like to see the RBESG take place in late July.
Message evilempire beers 162 º places 110 º 03:12 Tue 3/6/2012 being a Northern skinflint, I’d prefer something centred on Bratislava, with a possible day trip to Wien - better and cheaper flights from UK to Bratislava than Wien (I’m allergic to paying for flag-carriers!), and cheaper accomodation! my vote is still for 23/24 June
Message Cuso P beers 15752 º places 335 º 03:40 Tue 3/6/2012 Leighton, in my original agenda I splitted visiting of Bratislava brew pubs to 2 days, because Patronsky pivovar is quite far from city center. But it’s easily managable with Richtar Jakub by bus (rented). Richtar Jakub is closed at Sundays. Anyway, I will talk with them possibly this week, if they could accomodate us for GT, and if yes, if they could open the pub for us on Sunday. Even if we will visit Wien I suggest accommodation in Bratislava because it’s really cheaper.

Agenda: 1.st day Vienna pub crawl (If there will be interest). 2nd day Bratislava Pub crawl (Mestiansky pivovar (Drevena, Dunajska) and Zamocky pivovar, possibly Patronsky pivovar. 3rd day: Patronsky pivovar, if not day before, GT at Richtar Jakub, 4.th day Departure. Let’s vote.
