Hi! |
I don’t know what is available in Norway, but I’d try any Berliner Weisse you can find. Those will be sour and probably under 4.7% |
Does 4.71% qualify? |
Originally posted by TooManyBeers 4.71 > 4.7, so no. |
Why 4.7? |
Originally posted by TURDFERGUSON I’m guessing it’s something to do with the fact that only the Government-owned Vinmonopolet stores are allowed to sell anything over 4.7%. |
And I think 4.7% is relevant to the amount of beer that Norwegians can bring back into the country duty free. |
As for fruit beer, you can’t go wrong with New Glarus Serendipity, New Belgium Red and their Raspberry Tart. All with GREAT ratings and are at 4% abv. You will have to trade for them but if you can get any of them you won’t be disappointed! |
Originally posted by chriso Yes, that is right. But we can bring back any beer up to 23 % on the duty free, as long as it is a beer. |
Originally posted by TooManyBeers Yes.. As long as is it lower than 4,75% |
Originally posted by kdb88 http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/jolly-pumpkin-bam-noire/77543/ is listed as a Saison, but is a Sour IMO. 4.3% ABV, and one of my favorites! |
