I just ordered an Avery IPA because of this thread and I’m really enjoying it, probably haven’t had one in atleast a year and I don’t know why. |

+1,000 For Avery....I don’t drink their beer too much, but just seeing the dedication to quality control and clear communication means the world to all craft beer consumers ! Adam is right. We all pay big bucks for great brews, and it is awesome to see that they are trying to do everything in their power to make it right ! All brewers/breweries should take notes ! I will be buying Avery this week just because of this customer service and honesty. |
I admit that I’m not the biggest Avery fan. I consider them to be a decent all around brewery, but I’m not blown away with them. Still, this thread will make me go out and try other beers they brew. Kudos to them for doing the right thing. |
What a class act Adam, this is what customer service is all about. |
Great post. I had the Black Tot and it was really nice. |
excellent post, excellent customer service, I’ll buy more Avery as a result (I do like their IPA, why don’t I buy more?). |
Have a Black Tot in the fridge, and it looks like I just decided what I’ll be drinking tonight. I’ll post again if it turns out to be sour; I’m excited to try it either way. |
Mine was not sour...but this thread pushed me to open it earlier than I would have. Still, a really nice stout. |
Originally posted by drfabulous Agreed. I cracked mine open tonight, as promised, and it turned out to be a really nice beer. I like bourbon a LOT more than rum, but this was a fun and interesting take on the style. Thought the notes were a lot cleaner and more balanced in the nose than the mouth, but maybe it will smooth out over time. Not a hint of souring. |
