Message beastiefan2k P beers 5028 º places 294 º 12:46 Sun 10/30/2011 On 11/10 at 6pm its firkin Thursday at Bourgeois Pig in Lawrence. They will have "Cafe Buffalo" which is Buffalo sweat with coco nibs and Duluth coffee beans. Tallgrass is making a lot of special cask nowadays. If only a rep for them was a member of this site and could tell us about events so we could attend. Thus, rating their beer highly and making the brewery more popular. I’ll be there.

We should be part of the privileged ones that get notified of that sorta thing due to our uber-geek status and propensity for rating and talking about local brewers to our beer-drinking acquaintances. To me its one of the things that makes Tallgrass unique -- no one else around here sends casks of one-off beers to a bunch of places around Manhattan/Lawrence/Greater KC.
Message natedoggkc beers 165 º 09:58 Wed 11/2/2011 Lawrence isn’t in my territory and I’m so busy with work that I haven’t been on here nearly as much as I used to or want to be. I will tell you however that we have two coming up in KC. There will be one at Barley’s Midland on 11/11 and one at Old Chicago OP (119th and Metcalf) 11/18. I will throw more out there as it gets closer. Side note Velvet rooster should hit KC next week on the KS side.
