As a side note, does anyone know the ABV on the Baller Stout?? I couldn’t score any info off of the bottle |
any pics from the event? |
Originally posted by bdigital Well you answered it yourself plus the fact that your sample ticket was given to you at the end of the bottle line so it just made sense to get your bottles first and drink afterwards. This plan pissed me off because it seems so manipulative, "if you want your drink tickets you will have to wait in a line and also buy our bottles while you are at it." The other advantage for them is more people would be buying draft pours while they are in line for bottles instead of using their drink tickets. I’d really like to know how much planning goes into these events (not including calculating profits). |
Originally posted by Cliff It was there just not there when you got in. By then it was all sold out. I was thinking of buying some later in the evening. I missed out on that, too. I would have bought it earlier had I known it was all going to sell out so fast. |
Originally posted by fiver29 most of the food was sold out by 6:30 or so, or the big star line was so long (over an hour) that by the time you got upfront they had sold out. There was food in the brewpub, but then again another line assumed to be 1-2hrs long. Another bright spot in the planning of the event. |
Originally posted by BBB63 I was about right there with you Mikey but then they went ahead and put Zombie Dust in 6packs. |
My first time at 3F’s and never actually got a chance to check out the brewery, the line was too long to get inside. Seeing that I drove 8hours+ round trip I was a little disappointed. |
What was the bottle count on the Baller? |
It was at least 7500. I’m pretty sure they sold 2500 tickets to the event, and each ticket guaranteed 3 bottles. |
