Copper Dragon Best Bitter.

<*))))))><

how is it post-takeover used to be pretty decent.

The Thornbridge t’Ij collab wheat ale up next - big fan of the style when done well (.e. not recked by added corriander and orange peel...)

Speaking to somebody the other day about ’Copper Dragon’. Ex Rolls Royce guy owned it and spent rather a lot of money making it a ’Rolls Royce’ brewery: no expense spared on brewing equipment, the building and the floor: office staff all had expensive computer gear and top quality throughout the plant in all aspects. Beer never seemed Rolls Royce to me though.

Where’s Ian these days? He used to be a regular at the virtual pub but haven’t seen him on the forums in ages.

This Thornbridge American Wheat is lovely, lots of pink grapefruit, plenty of refreshment, fantastic drinkability - recommended will be ~4

Had a few beers tonight, settling in for some Fargo (season 2) with a little Ardbeg.

I have to be semi-sober for when our house guests are picked up by their husbands: ex-nurse colleagues of the wife been here all night. I know most of the blokes they are married too: they will be wanting a chat and a beer in my ’mancave’ when they arrive to transport the drunks home.

Currently searching for ’old beers’ to offer them without offending.
