I don’t think I like you anymore.
I know you love I&G really.

2011 Vintage Struise St. Amatus - Oostvleteren 12 - very impressive
That was in my "Wow" zone. I had one that was 2 years old, and it was stellar, and there was no reason to believe it wouldn’t get better. Enjoy!

He means he doesn’t pick up as many Partizan rates as he used to (at Cotteridge), when he was adding new ones every week, and I think Rich was top Partizan rater at one point !!!
Exactly.
The good old days :)
Still doing ok on the Weird Beard front though.
I should be doing better on WB tbh, missed a lot of little things that kill as I could never rely on bars in town to display the batch numbers

Don’t see it at Cotteridge Wines anymore.
That’s a shame, although I’ve not been blown away by much from them lately. Maybe I’ve just dropped unlucky. Just opened one now actually. Lemon Cuvée.

Ok sat in my sparse living room surrounded by boxes full of kids toys playing sing alongs and nursery rhymes because I forgot to switch them off before I packed and taped them up. Time for a timmy taylor havercake.

Yep, I like it too. Still got 4 bottles of it in the garage which must be a few years old now. May be worth digging one out soon to see how it has aged.

Yeah its aged very well. Very tempted to go back and hoover up the rest of their stock, think there was about 5 or 6 more bottles left at around 30DKK (£3 quid) each. Bargain.

With ’beer like language moves on’ said with an upward inflection like it’s a question. Also said with and upward inflection, like it’s a question. I didn’t say it always moves on for the better (upward inflection au naturale) Pretentious? Moi?

In that case then, it’s a mild.
That thought had crossed my mind too, especially when the Guinness archivist claimed that 3.5% to 3.8% "Porters" were typical of the late 1700s.
