With your super fast jav trains you can get to central London quicker than most people who live in zone 5 or 6 !

Also it doesn’t cost people in zone 5 or 6 £20 to get to London and that’s with a gold card discount, so £30 normally.

As in the Harp on Chandos Place?

Not been in there for a few years - didn’t realise they did decent keg stuff. Is Kernel a regular feature in there?

Whats wrong with you man!

The Harp is a capital place, Hophead being in particular fine form of recent times.

Eerrmmmm, Tom is right here, anyone who hasn’t been to The Harp on Chandos Place regularly over the past 8 years has been missing out on some top beer. Hophead recently and Harvey’s consistently. I’ve had Harvey’s SBB in there that I’ve called Harvey’s on speed.

Good cider choice, and just wonderful service too. Love that pub.

The Harp is easily my most visited pub in London outside of our own of course.

Its a great place to have a Hophead and read some Sharpe.

Anyone else also enjoying the rogering the Aussies are getting today?

Anything pale and hoppy is working for me. Taras Boulbas in the Craft, anything Rocky Head, Kernel Pales etc.

Totally not interested in anything cask. Don’t want anything warm and grainy.

Oh yes, 7 hours of pure joy. And 10 rates along the way. Yes, slow and slightly boring, but the Australian bowling is pure rubbish. I mean it’s total shit. Haha. Clarke can’t even trust his fast bowlers to take the new ball.

On topic, I have a Girardin Black Label in the fridge. That will be my favourite beer so far today.

Completely agree. Kernel Table beer is particularly good with the lower ABV. I have my homebrew version of a table beer on corny keg at the moment. 3.1% with Amarillo and Galaxy hops, It’s doning the job.

Anyone had Siren - Half Mast or Weird Beard - Small things that kill?
