There are so few breweries you can go to where every weekend you might find something new - it’s a Saturday ritual for me whenever I can, alongside a St John donut or eccles cake. I am just praying that they keep producing the 1890 Export Stout in the foreseeable future. Anyone know if they are going to produce the ’Imperial Stout’ again?

I have the love. I’ve got an export stout I’m aging for Xmas breakfast next year.

There is a whole section on the wall in Brouwerij Lane Brooklyn dedicated to the Kernel beers that I’ve brought out there. They never fail to impress people. Kernel is king..

I like Kernel beers.

But I wish they didn’t keep gushing.... their one (big) fault IMO.

I’ve never had a Kernel gusher, not one. Could it be a travel thing?

It annoys me that I can’t pop down to Kernel on a Saturday anymore, definitely nothing like that in Sweden....... but, Copenhagen is just over the bridge!

I’ve never had gushers from Kernel. Mine travel 25-30 miles on 3 or 4 tubes and then in a car for 15 miles, so plenty of rough and tumble in the rucksack!
