Visited this gem on 30th September 2016, for the first time in sixteen years. Was thrilled to see it was just the same. Its legendary tiled interior, its sloping floor and of course the full Marble range are all attractions that stand up for themselves. The menu íreadsí well but I had already eaten elsewhere. A mix of clientele of all age groups were enjoying the pub during my visit. Staff are wonderful, and the love and enthusiasm invested into the running of this superb house really show. An absolute MUST.
Very attractive interior, wiith mosaic floor and tiles walls and ceiling. Itís clear this place has been a bar since itís birth. Randomly met with Phil & Kath whom I had seen earlier at Cloudwater. Told Phil a tall tale about dacshunds. Beer was tasty and they had their own and some guests. Didnít try the food but I would return to do so.
Food was expensive and not very good, typical of a Gastro pub but without the passion. Seems to be living on itís past glories. Staff pretty useless, I asked the young lady behind the bar for something pale, hoppy and not too strong... she offered me a chocolate stout!!
Although they claim to be a Brewpub there is no longer a brewery at the pub as it is now mass produced in a nearby railway arch.
The building itself is amazing with beautiful wall and ceiling tiling and a wonderful sloping mosaic floor.
Great place. Warm and low-key. Good range of Marble on offer across cask, keg and bottle, covering most of their core beers supplemented by one-offs and collaborations. Pretty good value on the taps, although the bottles are a bit dear. Friendly service.
This place is located a little bit outside the city centre, but itís an easy walk and if you are visiting Manchester you should check out this classic pub.
Traditional, nice looking brewpub. It is a bit outside of city center, but accessible on foot. Good range of Marble beers on tap. Decent pub snacks. Had a bit of trouble paying with 50 quid note, but eventually it all sorted out. Worth visiting.
Lovely pub, with one of the most well preserved interiors I have ever come across. The original tiling and mosaic floor give this place so much appeal, the beers are superb, with the Lagonda being particularly excellent. Service was efficient and the clientele are a mixture of tourists and local ale heads who appreciate the relaxed atmosphere that exists in the Marble Arch. My favourite pub in Manchester.
Lovely place a bit off pist in Manchester. But only about 20 min walk from Piccadilly. Absolutely a must place to vistit.
Nice selection both on tap and bottles. Cousy lovely pub and a nice small patio also. You can also buy food here.
