Visited during the afternoon on a weekday and had the run of the place to myself. Nice space. High ceilings, lovely 360 degrees central bar. There’s a lot of beer on tap, much of it interesting. The beer list offers a solid selection of Belgians, which seems to differentiate itself from other bars in the area. I had a Dark Penance and a brett beer from Smuttynose. Prices were OK for the area (Boston’s expensive). I didn’t eat, but the food looked solid. Overall, a must-visit if you’re in town.

When your website says you open at11:30am, and your google maps and places shows 11:30am, but your door front window says 3pm, you are a joke. I went out of my way to come here to try a specific beer to only waste my time and fight traffic.

Visited here a few times. Great selection of beer. A few meads, very expensive. They has Utopias for $25 / 1oz and I couldn’t pull the trigger! Food is very good, fries are excellent. Service is ok. Place gets super busy in the evening.

Une belle sélection sur laquelle je me suis malheureusement cogné le nez alors que quelques unes des plus intéressantes n’étaient plus disponible. Chaque bičre a son verre.

Second stop while in Boston. A very modern "look" with an upscale feeling. I personally like the local "joint" feeling better but that is fine. Lots of people eating...but I did not so I cannot comment on the food. Service was fine for a Saturday afternoon. They were busy but the bartender kept up and was friendly enough. Some very nice people I spoke to at the bar. Great selection. They had Firestone Walker Ann 17 on draft! NICE! Overall it was fine. Prices were average. I’d go back but again...it has a more corporate feel versus local pub.

When I visited: Mid-September 2013.
What I had: Pretty Things Jack D’Or, Allagash Black, and Pretty Things Meadowlark IPA on tap, a few white wines for my girlfriend.
What I liked: Attractive, winding bar, nice cosmopolitan vibe, incredible draught list, efficient bartender made good recommendations, all beers are served in their proper, branded glassware, decent prices.
What I disliked: They’re a little fanatical about last call as they literally took our drinks away a few minutes after 1am. Not sure what that’s all about. Aside from that we really enjoyed our time here.
Would I go back? Yes. We didn’t get to try any food but it was clear from our visit that Meadhall is a first class bar.
Overall Rating: 88

Huge place not too far from Lord Hobo. Service is ok. A good walk from downtown, but it’s doable. Enormous selection, nothing too fancy but a lot of good beers. Price are a tad high, but still decent for the area. A nice place, but not a must-go.

Very nice stop very close to both Lord Hobo and Cambridge Brewing Company. Pretty cool atmosphere with dark wood and a 360 degree bar. 100 taps which is awesome for ticks, but often bad for getting fresh beer (turn over is an issue). That said I tried several hoppy beers (Maine Brewing and Jack Abby) and all seemed very fresh. Pricing was a bit high but not terrible. Quite a few ciders and meads available too. What really completely blew my mind was that every single thing I ordered came in its own glass ware. By the end I tried to stump them by ordering the most obscure cidery I could find. Sure enough, a snifter from that cidery. Really impressive. Server was knowledgeable, but not overly friendly. I’ll definitely return the next time I am in Cambridge.

Visited toward the end of a night that started at the Sunset, took in a Red Sox Yankees game at Fenway and then headed to Lord Hobo for a few before finally finishing at Meadhall. That said, this was the least appealing venue of the evening. The room itself is spacious with a nice large bar, but felt a bit industrial. I have to say the service was not good. Perhaps related to the hour of the day and the shift ending mindset of the staff, they were not attentive or nice to us at all. Selection was good, but don’t spend any time looking at the huge chalkboard... it’s not updated [then why have it], so you’ll need to get a menu. I found one rarity once we discovered that the 3 things I wanted on the chalkboard were not on tap. Selection was good, but again, after visiting Lord Hobo there’s very little chance I will return given the industrial feel of the place. Almost felt like it was put together by a focus group exploiting the "craft beer" craze than an organically built establishment of/by/for beer lovers.

Interesting place..biggest beer chalkboard one will probably ever see..100 taps with stuff from many styles..however surprisingly nothing that rare or fabulous..upstairs is private party space with bathrooms and tvs..no tvs downstairs..really wasn’t feeling this place..almost too many taps..not willing to pour any flights..were willing to pour a sample..however bartenders really aren’t very friendly and basically make laps around the immense circular bar..quite impersonal..didn’t try the food but really wanted to have a couple of new offerings and get out of dodge to a better establishment..get props for number of taps..but that is about it..after leaving it makes me appreciate my local pub with 25 offerings and much better service..
