This rating is for the brewpub, not the beer (the latter of which is truly world class). This being said, I think the latter has caused the former to become quite inflated. Ambiance is ok...but nothing special...the whole brewpub has an ’thrown together’ feel (and to be fair, I’d rather the effort go into the beer!). Service was mediocre - I tried to be friendly and jovial with the waitress a couple times, and she had a snobbish air to her...no split checks was also a slight downer. Selection of beer was quite good - there are actually too many excellent choices to choose from - but why no samplers?!? Food was eclectic but good overall - slightly pricey, but the ingredients are top notch. Prices for the beer were fair given the quality - I would definitely stop in for a pint on a quasi-frequent basis if I were closer. Definitely come for the beer, but the rest is underwhelming...

Great selections of their own beers on draft along with a bottle list of offerings from other breweries. Highly recommended you go on a weeknight/off peak hours, otherwise you’ll be waiting for a while for a table since the place is quite small.

Obviously we all know the beer situation. The pub is a bit odd and feels more tacked on to the brewery than a legitimate pub in its own right, but that’s fine. Stil a chill place to grab some amazing beers.

Hands down the best brewery in Indiana bar none. I had been a longtime fan of FFF’s before making my way up to the brewery/pub and now I can’t wait to go back. The brewpub is incredible, I did not expect such amazing food. Great atmosphere, great food, great beer. What more can you ask for?

Swung through here on an overnight stop in Indiana due to the most recent snowstorm. Very glad I was finally able to try some of their beers and I was not disappointed. Very funky / interesting feel to the place. Service was good at the bar, and bartender was attentive despite how busy they were. Selection was OK, but i would have liked to see some more of the hard to find stuff on tap (i.e. Dark Lord). Wishful, but hey its the brewery. Food was very good, had a few of the appetizers and saw some of the burgers / sandwiches. Good value for the hype surrounding this brewery. Was expecting some outrageous prices, but was reasonable overall. Had lots of fun here and will definitely return.

I really liked this place. First, they blast heavy metal, which isn’t my favorite but it’s better than pop music. Second, they were watching Blood Sport on the TVs when we walked in. 3rd, they had a about 6 of their own beers and a big guest beer list. We had a few brewery only ones that were good. 4th, the food was awesome! Everything we had was awesome. EAT HERE!

A bit of a "biker bar" vibe located in the middle of an industrial park.. it’s not normal. Great selection of 3F beers on tap, as well as a few guest drafts which are a) high quality and b) well-priced. Can’t do any flight you want; only one pre-defined one. Service was fine, but not particularly friendly. Music was loud (a draw for some, I guess) and it was cold where we were sitting. The beer is, of course, some of the best. But as far as brewpubs go, this was not my favourite. Still, I will pop in unconditionally any time I’m driving to Chicago.

Drove here straight from the airport on a recent business trip to Chicago. I got there at 10:50 based on erroneous info I had that they opened at 11am. When the 6 people waiting outside didn’t get in at 11...I asked why they came so early (silly me)...the answer was...better get on line quick or you’ll have a 2 hr wait to get in. Sure enough the line was out the parking lot in 20 mins including a small bus! I am familiar with their beer but obviously can’t get it back east. I usually drink what I can while in Chicago...but this was my first trip to the brewery. It did not disappoint! (it helped that I got in with the first group of patrons).I came for Dreadnaught & low & behold...wouldn’t you know that was the only empty tap that day! Well I drank flights of everything...and fell in love with Zombie Dust. As I was getting ready to leave...the bartender told me they just bottled Dreadnaught…whoopee! So in my jubilation I bought a case not thinking I could only get 5 in my check bag and drink 3 more before I flew home. So some local craftbeer fans I later met at Hopleaf got 3 and the bartender there 1. Don’t ever miss a chance to go here if you are not from the area.

OK, of course the beer is good. I have no problem with anything they brew.
However, the customer service really needs to be worked on. If you show up with a party of 7 people, keep in mind they will not split the bill. They only will accept 1 ATM card regardless of how many people sit at your table. I also have a few other minor complaints but I will not bore you with them. All I can really say is, I really enjoy brew pubs and restaurants that have high customer service. (you will not get that here)
The nice part of my visit is I got to meet a long time trade partner and a few of her family members. So, looking at it I had a good time because I was with good people. Queenholly it was a pleasure!
Anybody who hasn’t been just be warned that the Hipsters have taken this place over.
