Stopped by on a recent visit to the area and lucked out on their first ever sat lunch..I guess normally place opens at 4...quaint setup with a nice downstairs bar area and tap offerings and menu listed on chalkboards..liked that they do 4 oz pours and other various sizes and list prices on board..everything I sampled was well crafted and tasty..wouldn’t say the food menu was extensive..but what they did was well done..bread was great..have some tasty local cheese..birch run fat cat..panini looked pretty good and apparently I missed the candied bacon but will not next time..didn’t see what the upstairs was like as it was not available..but left with a good vibe from this place..music was good..easy parking in a lot just across street..server was good and knowledgable and Jean even hooked up bar patrons with a sample pour from a bourbon barleywine...definitely worth checking out..

There was a line when they opened Saturday at 4. Jean was very personable and fun to chat with. Very friendly and helped my GF and I decide what to drink. Our 8 growlers were filled while we ate some of the best candied bacon ever! The pickled cucumbers were amazing and the bread was out of this world. Very drinkable beers, friendly staff, prices were pretty high but we’re from new hampshire so it seems everything in ARdmore was pricey.

I came here on a Tuesday, which is one of their slowest days. I was able to sit at the bar of this small off of the main strip brewpub. The place has a very earthy vibe to it, brick walls and stone (or is it wood, bad memory) floors. The first floor is very small, maybe 20 people can be comfortable at most but there’s also an upstairs. I was able to sit at the bar where I could easily see the chalkboard food menu. In-fact their menus are all on chalk with a paper beer menu to supplement. It feels small and cozy.

The service was nothing short of excellent. I don’t know the name of the bartender but he also helps brew there. He was very friendly, knew a lot about beer, and took the time to talk to me and my girlfriend. Excellent service with quick beer delivery times.

It’s hard to judge the selection since it’s all of their beer, but the majority of them were low alcohol saisons and pale ales. There were a few variants, but they could use some more diversity. I was very happy with every beer though and thought they were all above average in quality. The great thing is that they offer 3 sizes of each beer from a 4 ounce taster to a larger size.

The food selection is either cheeses, cured meats, home made pickles, or panini. I tried the pickle sampler and a bologna and cheese panini. The pickels weren’t my favorite, but then again I enjoy dills in general, but the panini was great and priced just right.

The prices here was what astounded me. I tried all 8 beers in taster size, got the pickle sampler, got a panini, bought a glass, bought a 32 ounce growler then bought beer to go in it. This all cost $60. Not bad at all.

This is a great place. No doubt. I would visit here again in a heartbeat, as long as I can figure out a way around traffic.

Very fun place! Walked in an was made very at home with a friendly staff. They get "dinged" for their selection as it is only their beers BUT they did have about 7-8 different things on tap ranging form IPA to Brett Pales to saisons. Menu is small but pretty nice with meat, cheese, paninis, and salads. Upstairs is nice as well. Pretty busy for a Tuesday night.

Nice place; tried the Hop Forward, Farm Hnads, Liver Pool, Ancient Knovvledge, and Farm Hands, plus a couple cheeses and meats; good service with smart recommendations; cheeses were tasty.

Stopped by on a Friday night. Preppy hipster place/area. Quick drink at the bar than we headed upstairs to a table. Cool place, exposed brick wall, ceiling and wooden floors. Server was friendly and knowlegable about the beer. The food menu is written on a chalk board. I had the bread and butter which was great. Everyone else had a sandwhich which they said was decent. Lots of local cheeses and meats. No guest taps... but I think they do have a couple wines available. I really like that they do 4oz, 8oz and 16oz glasses. Makes its nice to sample and priced friendly. I dislike their hours of operations. Easy to get to and parked on a side street. Overall, cool place. (scarf city!)

There are few brewpubs I’ve been to that are this frighteningly perfect for my hipster alter-ego. A combination of krautrock kicking out of the stereo, ass-kicking local cheese with great bread and house pickles, and awesome spread of affordable, super-fresh session beer in 4oz pours and everything with fair prices. I was surprised at how hit or miss some of the beers were, mostly due to over-extension of experimentation, but there were some incredible beers. The atmosphere couldn’t appeal to the hipster side of me anymore. It is a little clique-y, but it’s also fucking phenomenal.

The ambience is no-frills, but it is a beautiful little joint. Lots of wood and exposed brick walls. If you want a vast selection of beer and / or food, this probably isn’t your place. However, everything they do have is done to near perfectction. House made pickles. The gin ones are awesome, with lemon and coriander. They also had a good spicy one. Their bread is amazing and their meats and cheeses are all sort of locally sourced. Also, the raspberry fig compote (I think) that came with the cheese was life-changing. Their beers were all ales and have a lot with funky saison notes. Their pale ales have great hop flavors without being face shrinking bitter. I haven’t tried one that didn’t make me smile a great deal. By that, I mean they are amazing. If you don’t enjoy this type of beer, then T.G.I. Ruby Shenanigans might be the place for you. It is a little pricy, but not really that much more than a lot of places serving that quality of beer and munchies, and if you expect to pay a buck a pint, maybe don’t go to the brewery on the road with the Ferrari and Land Rover dealerships. Overall, it is an awesome place with servers that know and enjoy the product and just do it well.

My wife and I were instant fans. This is going to become a habit. Did not try food except for their bread, which was amazing.
