2.9 Apóstol Helles Pours a slightly orange yellow with a shock of rapidly dissipating white head. Sweet fruit and maybe some banana yeast on the nose. Has a pretty decent mouthfeel, with some light sweetness that fades into a bit of a hint of bitterness. It’s pretty mild but the relative thickness of the mouthfeel helps it Thursday, June 22, 2017

Friday, April 7, 2017

3.4 Apóstol Bock Bottle in Seattle. Picked up in Bogota. Soft head, dark leather brown with red edges. Sweet with smoky malts on the nose. Bock doesn’t come to mind with the sip, but a nice sweet rauch character. Thin bitter. Rather red fruity, medicinal cherry, thin bitter metal. The light smoke is fantastic, and this beer tastes nice and is interesting. But some sweet, watery, astringent malt distracts. Surprisingly interesting. Monday, February 20, 2017

2.7 Apóstol Dubbel Bottle in Seattle, found in Bogota. Thin foam, dark ruby brown body. Modest dubbel flavors I must admit. Rosy, sweet red malt and some earthy twang. The yeast and ferment though sell this out. Tastes like a Vienna lager with perfect Belgian dubbel malt bill. Creamy, sweet malt syrup. Interesting. Sunday, February 19, 2017

2.9 Apóstol Märzen Bottle in Seattle, purchased in Bogota. Creamy soft white head, rich orange body. Big biscuit nose, nilla wafers or plazma keks. Creamy body, sweet apple, lots of biscuit. Cookies, thin esters, quite grainy. Inelegant and a touch buttery. Thursday, February 16, 2017

Intento frustado, aunque curioso. Monday, June 8, 2015

1.2 Apostol Sin Alcohol This has the most head of any non-alcoholic beer I’ve had. The flavor is similarly sweetly malty as most other of these beers(I’ve had a lot here in colombia for lack of other beers to rate and good beers to drink). Gross. Wednesday, December 31, 2014
