AirForceHops	3.8 7 Seas Imperial Stout - Barrel-Aged (Pursuit) 22 oz bottle. Aroma is mild bourbon, soft roast, booze. Flavor follows. The bourbon is forward. I’ve never had Pursuit bourbon. However, I will say that the alcohol is quite noticeable after the swallow. Good but booze is a bit sharp. Saturday, July 29, 2023

mcberko	4.1 7 Seas Barley Wine - Barrel-Aged (Whiskey & Rye Whiskey) Bottle pour at 7 Seas - Tacoma, pours a cloudy bright orangey amber with a small beige head. Aroma reveals big barrel notes, specifically the spicy rye whiskey, along with dark dried fruit and big caramel malt. Flavour is rich and complex, with lots of deep caramel malt, toffee, dark fruits, and just enough barrel character to round things out. The rye only imparts a light spiciness. Carefully calibrated for such a big boy without being too brutal. Excellent. Monday, July 3, 2023

Flavour is reasonably balanced, with a nice big roasted malt base which makes way for big earthy and resinous hops. Big and bold, with great balance on the finish. Excellent. Monday, July 3, 2023

Aroma brings out dry roasted malt, some earthy hops, and a touch of bone dry cocoa powder. Flavour is clean and smooth, with a nice English bready malt character, light toffee, and the slightest of hop content. Smooth and drinkable, with a very malty but fairly dry finish. Good stuff. Taste is tons of english malts sweet aged wort syrup roasted barley molasses hay sugared caramel honey creme brulee brown sugar bourbon oak malted barley vanilla and barrel wood. Aroma of very roasty malt, brown sugar notes, rye spice notes and hints of non-bourbon booze. Full bodied. Flavor is sweet demerara sugar, heat, rye spice, and something other than rye in the whiskey sense. Not dry, but not sticky (close tho). Balance from heat and rye spice. Extremely good flavor. Aroma of nice bourbon, chocolate, dark fruits and burnt/toasted malt. Med plus body. Flavor is burnt malt bitter, nice bourbon, chocolate, wood notes and hints of dark plummy fruits. Not at all dry. coasternut	4.1 7 Seas Ballz Deep Double IPA This beer pours a orangey yellow color with a small head that stays for a while. The aroma is malt and hops. There website says Simcoe, Magnum, Centennial and Cascade Hops, it doesn't taste like an 85 IBU beer. It tastes more like a 45 IBU one. Very drinkable. It has a nice hop flavor without being overly bitter and not much bite at the finish. Like their notes say big , bold and balanced is definitely true. Wednesday, March 31, 2021
