3.2 Young & Jackson Classic Pilsner Draught at Young & Jackson, Melbourne Pale gold body with slight haze, holds a good creamy white head & lace. Nice biscuity pilsner malt on the nose, some cracker/cheese biscuit character about it, subtle floral hops are complimentary. Med-full body, has a smooth creamy sort of mouthfeel, possibly from the restrained carbonation. Plenty of lovely grainy pilsner malt on the body, clean overall, nice subtle floral/dried herbal hop. Bitterness lifted for style but welcomed. Very nice pilsner. Friday, September 9, 2016

3.8 Young & Jackson Naked Ale On tap at Y&J in Melbourne. Straw coloured cloudy as a wit should be. Lots of bandanna in the nose, light spice and refreshing bitterness. Reminds me of a good Belgian white, good competition for Feral White. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Tuesday, March 4, 2014

3.2 Young & Jackson Naked Ale On tap at Young & Jackson’s pub in Melbourne. This one reminds me of Redoak’s honey wheat ale of a few years ago with a nice subdued malt sweetness and lemony citrus finish. Light-medium body with oily texture. Pours hazy bright yellow with decent white head. Sunday, October 13, 2013

3 Young & Jackson Naked Ale Pot from the tap.Cloudy straw yellow. Nose is a bit of banana, slightly sweet and very yeasty. Taste is extremely yeasty with bits of banana from the nose and a lovely sweetness. A slightly hoppy taste on the mid palate, and the finish is all yeast. Reasonably good beer, but too yeasty for my liking. Wednesday, April 25, 2012

4.8 Young & Jackson Naked Ale this beer is freakin AWESOME.. if you like wheat/sweeter tasting beers I’d peg this as the mecca of wheat. I had this while visiting Melbourne from the U.S. and had 8 pints in 2 days...couldn’t get enough of it. If I ever make it back there I’ll definitely be having the Y&J Naked Ale Sunday, February 12, 2012
