3 Zenda It is a classical lager, a bit better than the others, in my opinion. The color is as usual yellow and gold, average carbonation and white foam, staying a few moment. The taste is malty but you have more hop than the others beers from Peru. It is ok but it seems that you don’t find this beer anymore like the franca, but I am not sure. Saturday, March 5, 2016

3 Zenda 300 ml bottle in Guayaquil. Pours light amber. Distinct pils malt aroma. Malt forward, grounded by noble-type hop aromas. Clean palate, high carbonation, hops emerge in the palate as well with some herbal oils, relatively pronounced bitterness for the style. Saturday, September 5, 2015

2.3 Zenda I poured this beer from the generous 1.1 L bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a light, clear gold color with many rising bubbles and a good-sized creamy and bubbly white head that had solid retention and good cling. The aroma was mostly a light hop mix featuring grass, grain, and some barley scents. The flavor of the beer was fairly bitter and slightly grainy with hops, but did not have any great distinctions. It had a light mouthfeel without much carbonation and was fairly thin and not that lively. Friday, July 8, 2011

1.7 Zenda 355mL found in Lima, Peru. Easy to find singles of this at the two grocery stores right off Calle Larco in Miraflores: Metro and Vivanda (more like Whole Foods). Zenda pours a clear yellow with a dense, white head. Nice retention with suddy lace. Nose is typical macro lager with corn, cereal, sugar water, and a "sting" of lemon and light metal. Taste is soapy, metallic, doughy, lemon, full biscuit. Gets a bit metallic and bland as it warms. Palate is watery- more akin to Perrier than beer. Blood iron comes through. Less metallic than Cristal but lacks a good aroma. Pretty poor. Tuesday, July 5, 2011

1.3 Zenda Just another light lager. Clear golden in color, white head. Nothing sets it apart to me from the other Peruvian light lagers. Sunday, January 9, 2011

0.9 Zenda Draught at a disco in Lima. I could say that it’s abulk lager, that it’s booring but refreshing. But at the same time it wouldn’t be fair to this brew, It’s ok. And i feel that as a social drink (in Lima as was the case for me). It did the trick and as such it’s a beer that I will remeber due to the fact that it was enjoyed in good company in a place... far from home ;) Thursday, February 25, 2010
