Pours almost black color with large soapy light brown head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts mild to medium sweet roasted malty and nutty with chocolate note, follows by dried fruit, herbs and caramel, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is light bitter. labeerinthum	3.7 Birrificio Sorrento Syrentum Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dall'orzo e dal frumento. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage, con carbonazione vivace, persistente ed insistita. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è di media potenza e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, crosta di pane, frumento, frutta secca, erbaceo, agrumi e arancia. JorisPPattyn	3.4 Birrificio Sorrento Elèa Small, just off-white head over clear metallic copper beer; lazily carbonated. Raspberry aroma, if rather shy and towards the sweet/jam side. Can't get grape even trying hard. Bitterish with a fruity tang & finish. Difficult to say what, but winemost sounds very plausible. Bit dusty, nothing sparkling, the more obvious thanks to the almost absent carbonation. Very slick, even oily feel; still beer, medium bodied. Stale cookies in the aftertaste. "Can do better" seems to sum it up. Not bad, but seen what is been done elsewhere, in Italy and further away... Saturday, April 27, 2019

La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La carbonazione è abbondante. Il liquido è di apparenza velata. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. La carbonazione è allegra e vivace. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è contenuto. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. La frizzantezza si manifesta sotto forma di bollicine medie con carbonazione eccessiva e frizzante. Il colore è ambrato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. L'intensità gustativa è normale. La costanza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole per una birra parecchio gassata. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di pronta beva. Alengrin	3.6 Birrificio Sorrento Minerva Italian amber ale with orange, sample from a 75 cl bottle at LIBF. Thick, yellowish cream white, moussy, frothy, papery lacing, stable head, more or less clear copper-tinged amber robe. Aroma of bitter orange peel and a hint of marmalade, peanuts, butterscotch, damp straw, red apples, white pepper, water melon, sweet white grapes. Sweetish onset, apple, pineapple and noticeable orange zest spritziness, medium carb, smooth and oily mouthfeel, sourish edges; nutty, caramelly malt middle, rounded with a mild toasty bitterishness accentuated by an orange peel aspect. Al naso sentì il Natale delle antiche case napoletane, dove con dovizia venivano preparati i tipici dolci delle feste. Anice, cannella, frutta secca e chiodi di garofano. In bocca è morbida e calda, la bevuta non è da spensierati, ma l'equilibrio è raggiunto con un finale amaro e speziato che richiama il sorso di nocillo, tipico liquore napoletano con cui si usa chiudere i grandi pranzi natalizi. Allo stappo un leggero gushing denota una carbonazione eccessiva che gonfia le bolle della schiuma al calice. Al naso agrumi e frutta secca. Al naso note di spezie e agrumi, mai invadenti, pervadono i sensi.
