theisti	3.6 Dad & Dude's Smell the Glove Shaker pint at Dad & Dude’s Breweria in Aurora, Colorado. The pour is a slightly hazed golden copper with a small white head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is fresh floral hops, and a nice balance of biscuit malt. The taste is fresh straightforward balance of the floral hops and the bready biscuit malt. SudsMcDuff	3.4 Dad & Dude's Dank IPA had just got back to our hotel, gabf in denver, saturday night, late, and as we were waiting for the elevator a small group of tipsy older people walked up and starting chatting. I ended up with a 16 oz. CaN and an invite to "party" with them later. I skipped the old person orgy and slammed this CaN in my room. Grass mostly, some mild dankness but not very deep. Good for a quick pint but i didn’t honestly enjoy this that much, but it was late so.. . . Sure it’s not 1985 right now, but who KNOWS what tomorrow will bring!? Sunday, December 27, 2015

onceblind	3.5 Dad & Dude's Sweet Sunshine Coffee Stout Deep dark brown with a thin light tan head with a nice nose of roasted black coffee grounds, a slight earthy roasty bitterness, and a touch of semi bitter char. Smooth and crisp flavor with coffee bitterness and slight black malt roastiness throughout. A bit earthy and dry with a smooth semisweet note of chocolate underneath. Not shabby. onceblind	3.6 Dad & Dude's Alpaca Red IPA Slightly hazy copper amber with no head. Oddly smells a bit of coffee and amber maltiness with a pleasant wet hoppy kiss of light floral tones. Smooth flavor with semisweet amber and caramalts, a light kiss of coffee again that was on the nose (not unwelcome at all--comes as a surprise but it adds a nice earthy tasty quality), and a little floral/orange fleshy hop tone at the end. onceblind	3.6 Dad & Dude's Bloorocuted Blood Orange Saison Hazy light gold with very little head, save for a thin bit of film that clings to the side of the glass. Semisweet orange fleshy/rind nose and a bit of earthy hay graininess and a touch of Belgian yeast fruitiness on the aroma. Smooth and mellow flavor with lots of orange rind and a smooth, clean balanced flavor. Minimal bitterness, earthy hay and saison malts, and a touch of citrus flesh near the end. Not shabby. Bartzilla	3.2 Dad & Dude's Dank IPA I think the description pretty much nails it. Heavy handed on the hops shows, and has a sort of creamy malt mouth feel to it. I prefer it a little crisper at this ABV, but this is how they’re barking it, so I can’t complain. It is what is says and I kinda like it. Another reviewer mentioned keeping it cold. I second this. Ernest	2.3 Dad & Dude's RYEot Can. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white to light brown, mostly/fully diminishing. Body is medium to dark amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, husks), lightly hoppy (apricot), with notes of plastic, pepper, metal. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Dirty aroma, somewhat dirty aftertaste, overall just really clunky and aimless. It’s like a bad amber ale base with the pointless addition of peppercorns (which don’t really enhance the beer in any way, they just kinda stick out as a weird slightly off odor). Drain pour. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Straightforward in the overspiced direction...a bit urinal cakey. The aroma is slightly vegetal caramel malts, some roast, spicy rye and some floral notes. The flavor is bready vegetal malts with a little rye and fruit and a grassy and metallic bitter finish. TheAlum	2.1 Dad & Dude's Peachy Keen Berliner Weisse GABF 2014 Rating (Denver, CO). Pours a hazy straw hue, gentle haziness. Ckaey whitish head atop is a nice layer. Looser with mellow stick around and lacing. Aromas are frankly terrible, farts and sulfur are potent here, a bit eggy, gentle peach and tartness. Feet, yogurt. Initial is a touch better, gentle peach, bready malts, earth and a bit of funk. Middle is bready, a bit mellow, watery. Gentle yogurt, straw, watery lemonade on the backend. Faint peach. The flavor starts earthy green with some leafy green onion and lemongrass notes right off the bat, with wheat and clove following right behind. Peppery lemon on a wheaty, clovey finish.
