3.5 Dancing Duck Duzzy? Cask at Exeter Arms, Derby. Pours a pale straw with a small almost white head and excellent lacing. There’s a strong aroma of floral hops lus some piney hints. Floral hops again in the mouth where it is slightly sweet and zesty. Quite a bbit of both lemon and lime with some traces of tangerine too – but not overdosed on citrus. Finish is slightly sharp. This is quite decent – much better than I was expecting. Saturday, January 13, 2024

3.7 Dancing Duck Hoppy Christmas Cask at Seven Stars, Derby (not yet listed on RateBeer). Pours a golden yellow with minimal white head. The aroma is a mixture of traditional and floral hops plus summer fruits. This combination continues in the mouth, where overall it is quite bitter. Later on some citrus comes through, leading to a dry finish. Quite nice – punches well above its weight. More of an ISA than a pale ale though. Thursday, December 29, 2022

4.3 Dancing Duck Ay Up / Ey Up Wasn't expecting much from the smell or colour, it's practically see-through & the head died almost immediately so I was disheartened. The taste though was surprisingly good, really enjoyable. A nice dance of biscuit & lemon dominated, citrus, interspersing throughout with the lemon seeming to win out towards the end, only to be hit with a final resurgence of biscuit. The aftertaste is thirst quenching with a delayed cut of grapefruit to end the experience. This is session perfection for me, I would happily spend an afternoon with a few bottles.
