heemer77	3.5 Wichita Chris Barley In A Little Coat Can. Deep bring wn body with garnet edges. This is topped with a dense khaki head. Malty nose of milk chocolate, raspberries and toast. The flavors are rich caramel up front with a boozy highly carbonated finish. Hints of prunes are present along with some chocolate notes in the finish. Well done but a little sweet. tfontana	3.9 Wichita Valleyview Vanilla Porter Can pour from Friar Tuck, Crestwood. It's a dark, dark mahogany-brown with light sparkle, finger-width beige head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt with lighter earthy quality, vanilla, dark fruit. Taste is strong earthy, roasted malt, vanilla and chocolate with late dark fruit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, more complexity and better than I was expecting. Wednesday, February 16, 2022

thegreenrooster	3 Wichita Saison In The Abyss Pour is a cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma is a bit of white wine and sour fruit. Flavor is again a little white wine with some sour lemon. FInish I get a bit of oak. It does not say this was aged on wood but that's what I'm getting after the swallow. If there was a category for a saison lite this would fit the bill. PorterPounder	3.7 Wichita V.6 IPA 9/5/20 - Fort Smith, Ar - Sodie's Wine & Spirits - 12 oz can. Foggy light orange pour, frothy snow white head. Solid spruce aroma, hint of spearmint. Full-bodied IPA flavor, solid citrus grapefruit wallop, some caramel sweetness, a touch of rye mintiness. Sticky, thick mouthfeel This beer is significant in that it is my first beer from the glorious state of Kansas - my last remaining state - I now have all 50 states and DC! Sunday, September 6, 2020

Bitterbill	3.4 Wichita Mad Scientist New England Style Double India Pale Ale No dating on the can. It pours a cloudy orange yellow with a massive head of foam with plenty of lacing. I get a sweetish aroma of tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, tempered with some dank notes, some bitterness. The taste is kinda bitter from the tropical fruit as well as sweet, orange zest, definite dry hopped flavours. Dank and again, not an easy drinker, not attributable to the abv. Medium bodied, mouthfeel is sort of harsh on my palate. Nah. I wish I had the chance to only get 1 can. Not for me. Monday, May 18, 2020
