Red Hare SPF 50/50 Tangerine
Clear golden and light copper coloured body with a thinnish, one to two centimetre tall off-white head that fades pretty quickly. Aroma of grass, perfume and a ton of bright tangeriney and citrus fruit notes with some lemon rind as well, but a big grassy and resinous hop characteristic as well and some very smooth, but biscuity malts here towards the end. Light to Medium-bodied; Very tangeriney, grassy and citrusey flavours dominate with a juicy-like bite with some dry herbal and perfumey notes and even a hint of pine from the hop bitterness and alpha acids towards the end. Aftertaste shows some of the bitterness, a good deal of balanced malt and more of the citrusey, tangeriney and floral notes from the hops than anything else here. Overall, a nice and robust, super citrusey and easy-drinking beer with a lot of orangey components, but the grassy, herbal and floral notes are the strongest, as would be expected. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Mac's Beer and Wine in Atlanta, Georgia on 28-May-2018 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington in summer 2018 as well.

Miami vice can. Looks like rabbits fighting with lightsabers. Hazy, dull straw pour with a big pillowy white head. Aroma is sweetish, fruity, and has a baked zest cast. Sweet, shandy-ish, light bittering, some zest and pith. A little too clingy for me and viscous. On fire sale, ABC Liquors, Bull Run.

Pint can from local Georgia gas station. Opaque lemon yellow pour with white foamy crown. Aroma is fruity with some funky notes that are slightly off-putting. Grapefruit, melon rind, lemon zest are present in aroma and in taste. Some dank herbal flavor within medium textured mouthfeel. Fruit hops dominate here. No great malt character here, and some raw funk notes hold it back from being a truly solid IPA. You could do worse for sure, but far from a first choice.
