4 The Brewery Britomart Eight Ball Porter On tap at the brewpub. Served a virtual black color with a moderate head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of burnt malt with a trace of dark chocolate. Taste of roasted malt and dark chocolate with a trace of coffee. Mild bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body, smooth and creamy. Has a nice rich texture. very good balance. Fairly mild aroma of malt sweetness, grain and a trace of fruit and herbs. Nice easy malt sweetness with some grain. Mild bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body and smooth. Nicely balanced.
