Peddler It's Just A [P]haze Hazy IPA
From a 12 oz can (dated 12/13/20) into a stem glass. Pours slightly hazy gold with head and lace. Aroma of pale malt, stale ashtray, straw hops. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of pale malt, straw hops, grapefruit notes and oxidation. Overall, ignoring the oxidation, rich, decent.

Peddler Horchata Cream Ale
Musta gone crazy while shopping to buy a cream ale, however, I love Horchata! Into a stem glass it pours bright gold with small head and lace. Aroma of cream soda and grains. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of light malts, grains, slight powered sugar, la dee da. Overall it's kinda like a vanilla cream soda with a smidgen of alcohol, and quite tasty.

Peddler Wildflower Honey Wit
Nice creamy orange pour, white foam on the top. Nose has some medicinal flowers, raudrohi, light sweetness. Tastes sweetish, lots of medicinal flowers, light tartness there as well. Feels quite substantial, especially for this relatively low abv (or not). Interesting character here, honey not that much there but lots of forest flowers.

Peddler Tropic Thunder IPA
On tap @ Peddler. Pours clear dark orange with thin lacy white head. Aroma is dank vegetal hops. Taste is thin sweet roasty caramel malt, hops are bitter, grassy, kinda one dimensional. I really like Peddler, but hard to justify coming here when Stoup and Reuben’s (and others...) are make so much better beers right nearby.

Peddler Seattle Haze IPA
On tap @ Peddler. Listed here as 5.9% abv. Pours slightly hazy golden with thin white head. Aroma is sticky sweet caramel malt, light peachy and citrusy hops. Taste is similar - pretty light malt bill for an IPA; hops show grapefruit rind, less fruity and more grassy. Ok.

Peddler Golden Peddle Belgian Tripel
Draft 5 oz pour at Hop and Hound. A mostly clean, shiny golden pour with a thin, fading head. A surprising aroma of a pils like grain. Floral heavy flavor, slightly sweet. Some bubblegum like Belgian notes. Smooth, and soft for a stronger tripel. Interesting. Not bad.

Peddler Golden Peddle Belgian Tripel
Hop and Hound, Bothell. Very thin ring, thick and heavy pale orange. Big thick nose. Fairly nice Belgian tripel nose, bright and clean. Tons of banana. Round, full and spicy alcohol. No finesse. Flavors are close, but this is far too syrupy thick. Better than expected from Peddler, but beating rock-bottom expectations isn’t saying too much.

Peddler Tropic Thunder IPA
Bottle pours a cloudy orange with a thin eggshell head and nice lacing. Carbonation appears high. Aroma is green olive and tangerine. Taste is solid, just the right fruity, has a strong, lasting bitterness on the back end.

Peddler Wildflower Honey Wit
It’s a witbier, it should be tart, banana-ey or lemony and fresh. It shouldn’t be some weird weak citrussy sour but frothy and sickly sweet like this is, If it’s an attempt tot brew a wit with a twist, sorry, no dice. Meh.

Sweet, husky, has a vague nutty, chocolatey character. It’s ok but the huskiness is an issue for me.

I guess this is their beer for people who don’t like beer? No wait. Beer for people who don’t like flavour? Yeah, about that. Hazy light tan, yeasty and dull. This has nothing of interest.

Peddler Black Currant Tripel
On tap at Peddler, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out candied sugar and lots of fruity esters. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of candied sugar, cloyingly sweet black currants and lots of fruity esters. Embarrassing to call this a tripel. Cloyingly sweet and lacking any complexity. Bad.

Peddler Alleycat Amber Ale
On tap at Peddler, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out whacked out yeast notes, some phenols and bandaids. Flavour is fairly astringent, with bready malt and some hoppy bitterness without any actual hoppy flavour. Not impressive and very flawed.

Peddler, Ballard. As "Mosaic Thunder". Tall foam, clearish orange god. Weak veggie-onion hop. Body is dry, gauze. Almost no hops to be found, certainly not robust enough to single out the hop. Pretty horrible.

Peddler Tropic Thunder IPA
Tap as "Mosaic Thunder, 6.2%, 66 IBU" - probably the same as this one. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, hop oils, plastic. Taste is straight cooked vegetables, DMS, grainy. Medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Quite an affront.

Peddler Chai Tripel
Tap. Hazy orange color with white ring. Aroma is oranges, sweet berries, not so much Chai... Taste is old lady perfume, cough syrup. What is Tripel about this?

2.2
Peddler Stage 22 Oatmeal Stout
Tap. Muddy brown color with no head. Aroma is earthy, dark malts, but also some plastic and vegetables. Taste is mostly plastic and vegetables again. Pure grain aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Finished the flight with luttonm, all glasses are more than 98% filled still... I suppose that says enough about the quality of this brewery. I literally couldn’t drink more than a Danish tick sip of each beer, they were really disappointing.

Peddler Rando Red Imperial IPA
Tap. Amber color with small white head. Aroma is rye spiciness, berries, malty. Taste is harshly bitter, bready-malty, some vegetables, but not as much as most their other beers. I try to be diplomatic here, but what is wrong with this brewery?
