Idiosynkrasie	3 De Vriendschap Linke Tripel 330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with small to average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, phenolic fruity aroma, hints of cooked orchard fruit, whiffs of alcohol. Taste is sweet-ish malty and bitter hoppy, minimally sugary hints of caramel, fruity hints of jam and jelly; even more Barley Wine than Triple, not to mention Saison. Sweet, sugary and alcoholic. TrefwoordPunk	3.2 De Vriendschap NDSM Porter Bottle 33 cl, 4 months past BB date. Pours a dark reddish brown with a yellowish white head and a aroma of roasted malts, fish, coffee, cocoa, toffee, smoked salmon and nuts. The taste is dry and only slightly sweet. Not bad Friday, July 28, 2017
Kleurplaatje	3.8 De Vriendschap Puike Pale Ale ’Exp-date’: Dec 2015... Somehow I kinda forgot that this one was in my cellar...Nevertheless, the ’ageing’ took out pretty well instead... Pours dark orange with a frothy somewhat off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma is malty, caramels, citrus, grass and a bit toasted. Hint of toffees and a tad of hops. Pretty nice. Flavor is syrupy sweet... Caramels, dark fruits, sugars, grass, hops... Something spicy as well... Mild bitterness kicks in and takes over pretty quick.... On the sweeter side of the Pale Ales... Quite an odd one to me, but it is far from bad actually. Oily texture, medium bodied, little carbonation. Weird Pale Ale, but definitely not a mishit. Monday, July 3, 2017

Appearance: Turbid/opaque dark orange/dark brown beer with heavy yeast and with a medium off-white head. Taste/Palate: Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and orange; ends slightly bitter and slightly/medium dry with bread and hops. Overall: This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. thanatosti	3.8 De Vriendschap Ruige Amber 33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus Culemborg Dark amber with a huge, very persistent off-white head, almost as solid as whipped cream, well done!. Aroma is very hoppy and malty. Taste is hopbitter and mouthfeel is creamy. Not the most subtle beer ever, but that’s why they called it Rough Amber I guess. Very nice and robust. Kleurplaatje	3.9 De Vriendschap NDSM Porter Pours clear, fizzy dark brown with a slight beige head. Clear aroma of malts, caramel, some roasty tones, chocolate, bit breadish, some coffee... Nice. Clear flavor of caramel, bread, banana, chocolate, coffee, and some roasty malts as well. Bit fruity as well. Moderately sweet. Bitterness is a bit too mild to my likings, but that’s a minor disturbance. This is a soft, smooth and very tasty porter. All in all a well balanced but not that complex brew. Medium bodied, fairly carbonated. Bit of a thinnish texture though. However, I can’t complain with this brew. It has some small misses, but it still remains an enjoyable one to drink. Aroma’s: fruits, sweet fruit, a bit grain. Retronasal it’s rather sweet, fruits, slightly alcoholic. Flavor is rather sweet, fruity. Medium bodied. Finishes with a bit of a spice bitterness. Served into a shaker at home, ABV 7.6% Orange coloured body, mostly clear, with a small and thin, fizxy off-white head on top, disappearing straight away. Aroma of grains, spicy yeast, a bit nutty with some faint fruity notes too. Taste has also spicy yeast, nuts and grains, apricot, sweet peaches, light straw. Medium thin body, low carbonation.
