Nose is tonka bean, mellow roast, dark malts, chocolate melt. Taste comprises coffee, spice, vanilla, lighter shade of tonka than the nose, mellow roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fun stuff with a nice tonka balance. Saturday, February 24, 2024

The aroma is roasted malt, vanilla caramel and coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a rich, smooth, roasty, dry coffee, light caramel, liqourice bitter palate. Sweet, chocolate, caramel taste/aroma. Love the aroma on this one but the taste doesn't really match it, not sweet. Tasty enough stout if a little thin. Monday, February 19, 2024

Aroma of full on crunchy bar, chocolate, honey comb , biscuit and a little vanilla. Taste is the same with a little salt & booze. Full bodied with an oily slick mouthfeel and good carbonation. Aroma is of cinder, toffee, chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, cream and coffee notes. Taste is of cinder, toffee, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, honeycomb, caramel and slightly bitter. Tastes a lot like a Cadbury's Crunchie bar. Very soft and smooth mouthfeel and light carbonation. Overall a very interesting beer.
