Bulldog Scrapple Stout
Nice dry stout with a defined aroma & taste that is very rich. I liked it with & without food! I was given this with a meal in Oakland, CA in Sept. 2002 & have not been able to find it again since that trip.

GABF 2003. Poured very dark red with nice tan head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate. Sweet and warm mouthfeel. Very nice.

Bulldog Espresso Stout
Dark opaque brown with a small beige head. The aroma was a nice combination of espresso, chocolate, hops bitterness, and smokiness. The flavor was pretty much just espresso with a hops bitter aftertaste. Too much carbonation for this brew...very crisp feeling (maybe why this is a summer stout.)

Bulldog Amber Waves
No head and a fairly dark reddish brown color. The aroma was not very strong, but it did have great malty sweet tones to it along with some caramel. The flavor was full and rounded...some alcohol...definite toffee and caramel...sweet malty goodness.

Bulldog Blackstrap Imperial Stout
Nice molasses sweet aroma. The flavor was not well balanced...too much molasses, and not enough hops bitterness. As it warmed, the alcohol flavor became way too strong. Perfect carbonation and thickness for this kind of stout. Not a bad try...could use some tweeking in the recipe though.

Bulldog Scrapple Stout
Very creamy feel. Strong bitter roasted aroma and flavor. The body is too thin for its flavor. Very crisp finish.

Quite tart - appearance was cloudy on the batch that I had a pour from. Pretty refreshing after hiking all day. Nice establishment in Fresno as well.

Bulldog Double Chocolate Porter
Nice dark brown color. Way too much chocolate in the aroma and flavor for me, but a nice beer in general. The feel was too watery, thin. I think the strong aroma had me expecting the body of a stout instead of a porter.

Bulldog Scotch Ale
Nice beer. The flavor was very sweet with no hops bitterness at all. The bubbles were small and tingly on the tongue. The color was a nice dark red, and the head was small. The alcohol taste was masked by the intense sweetness of this beer.

Bulldog Oatmeal Stout
Yeah! This is a great stout. Very roasted, chocolatey taste. Very dark brown with a small head, and low carbonation. The alcohol is well masked by the strong hops and malt flavors. I was very impressed by this beer!

This is a real neat beer. It had a color that I can only describe as frosty yellow. Nice small bubbles felt great in my mouth. The taste was very citrusy/grapefruit. Very nice beer.

I expect an unfiltered wheat beer to be cloudy, but this one is completely transparent. If it were not for the description, I would say that it's filtered. The flavor was a little bland, but the feel was so sparkly and refreshing. Not my favorite wheat beer.

Very easy drinking beer. Nice yellow color with a small head. The taste was so peachy that I would swear it's a fruit beer.

Very bitter. A little too much for me. The high carbonation felt good on my tongue. Pretty golden color with no head.

Bulldog IPA
Thin white head and golden amber color. Citrus aroma and small hop bitterness. medium to small bodied. Not a bold IPA due to lack of body and hops IMHO. Overall a very clear drinkable beer.
