loweredsixth	3.5 Bulldog Espresso Stout Dark opaque brown with a small beige head. The aroma was a nice combination of espresso, chocolate, hops bitterness, and smokiness. The flavor was pretty much just espresso with a hops bitter aftertaste. Too much carbonation for this brew...very crisp feeling (maybe why this is a summer stout.) Tuesday, June 17, 2003
loweredsixth	3.4 Bulldog Amber Waves No head and a fairly dark reddish brown color. The aroma was not very strong, but it did have great malty sweet tones to it along with some caramel. loweredsixth	3.6 Bulldog Blackstrap Imperial Stout Nice molasses sweet aroma. The flavor was not well balanced...too much molasses, and not enough hops bitterness. As it warmed, the alcohol flavor became way too strong. Perfect carbonation and thickness for this kind of stout. Not a bad try...could use some tweeking in the recipe though.
