Flying Fish Mango Smoothie
Pours lightly hazy golden color with a touch of orange in it. White 1-finger head. Sweet mango aroma with a bit of peppery wheat underneath. The body is light, yet a touch syrupy. Mild finish. Flavor of sweet mango with a bit of wheat underneath that gets stronger at the back.

Flying Fish Cranberry Braggot
Can. Pours semi-opaque orange-amber with a 1-finger white head. Tart cranbery aroma with notes of honey and grain beneath. Full-bodied with some syrupy thickness. The finish is long with some boozy astringency to it. Light flavor of tart cranberry sitting atop sweet honey. The tartness of the berries cuts through the sweetness of the honey nicely, but it is muddied some by an earthy note that the back that takes away from it. I liked it, but the blueberry is better.

Flying Fish Watermelon Splash
Can. 1$ off the clearance rack, hehehehh. Darker off orange pale hazy stuff. Even with a stuffy nose I get an artificial sweet fruit nose. Yes, fruity on the uptake but I'm not sure if I can say its watermelon or not, it just tastes fru-fru-fruity. Not as tart as I would like it to be but, I don't really pick out any of those nasty bitter wheat ale attributes. The fruit and the wheat ale seem to be nicely meshed. I'd say its less of a wheat ale and more of a fruit beer. Probably should be style as such. Pretty good beer tasting attitude, Can't really find anything negative about this except that I wish it was a little more tart to make it quite interesting. Finishes with just a tad of that processed feel. Overall, its better than expected, good job there fish. I was putting this off for a while as it sat in my fridge but now I'm glad I finally popped it. You can't judge a beer by its label, hehehheh.

Flying Fish Mango Smoothie
1$ can on the clearance rack. Pour is yellow orange with a slight haze. Big fat fading head. Nose is somewhat fruity. Right off the top I was fooled by the word 'smoothie' - this has no resemblance to a smoothie at all. Yes some fruit in there but mostly it has a lot of those standard negative wheat ale flavors and attributes in there. Yea, I didn't want to drink this cause I thought it was going to taste like a sugary tart smoothie, but I was tricked into buying a wheat ale again. Oh well, at least its worth a tick, hehehh. Either way, smoothie or wheat ale, not liking this. Finishes like a medium bitter wheat ale and some mango hints.

Flying Fish Stormy Skies
Pours a pale dusty yellow haze. Decent off white foamy head in the Tulip. Sticky hanging lacework. Citrus nose. Moderate IPA bite feels tolerably sharp. Coriander hints brought forward with a balanced hoppy bitter. Mouthfeel is comfortable. Solid warming arrives. Carbonation released shortly after. Looks good in the glass throughout. Mostly a dry easy finish. Overall, thumbs up Flying Fish.

Flying Fish Exit 17 Russian Imperial Stout
I had this beer in 2018 after grabbingit from Tavour. Most of my notes were on a Notes app on my old phone. After upgrading my phone I realized that although the app transfered, the data didn't. I am going back and recreating everything I've lost using multiple sources. Many of the beers were one offs that although very good to great, I am unlikely to pursue again, or were ticks and also something that I wouldn't revisit. If I have another bottle or can sample the beer again  I will update detailed information when I have time, but for now the score will reflect what I thought but each beer. A few descriptive words are roasted malts, chocolate, rye whiskey, vanilla, oak, very good.

Flying Fish Salt and Sea: Pineapple Mango
Can, another salt and sea from the fish. Smell is somewhat attractive, with its mild pineapple perfume. Color is simply pale lager, nothing special. Hey, now some mango starts to attack the olfactory, pretty strong too. Taste is fruity, a little better than the last salt n sea I had, that silly blackberry. This one comes across a little better, it's a little more balanced. Very good level of co2 as well. This may be the better of the 3 S&S fish brews I've had. In the middle there is a little bit of that processed feel, but not like the others. I typically do not like mango or pineapple in my brews, but I have to admit, its not too bad. Yea, I could possibly drink another of these but maybe I'm just quite thirsty.

Flying Fish Salt And Sea: Blackberry Kiwi
1$ can from the bargain shelf. Nose is very nice, realistic blackberry on the olfactory. Color is just plain old pale ale, but it has a very good head, big white and frothy. Pretty good initial flavors, including some salt but the fruits seem a little processed. Pretty good level of co2. Towards the end, the odd fruity thing starts to get on my nerves and nearly ruins the drinkability of it. Probably would not do more than 1.

Bottle pours nice ruby brown. Head totally dissipates. Aroma is malty and chocolatey. Taste follows with some toasted almond and a dry finish. Not more like an American Brown Ale than Belgian dubbel? I just picked it up to check off NJ from my states and lo n behold MJ liked it and it's on the 1001 BTTBYD list. Noice!

Flying Fish Caramel Espresso Porter
Deep dark brown coloured body with a pretty thin tan head, only showing a centimetre or two above the 80 per cent opaque deep dark brown body. Aroma of super artificial and sweet caramel notes with a ton of sugars noticeable here showing the lactose, cream and especially the caramelised sugars and toffee. Medium-bodied; Very sweet and super artificially flavoured caramel drives this flavour with a good deal of malts for support, but the caramel shows fake and odd, while being very sweet with little else aside from some light lactose, vanilla and cream. Aftertaste shows a lot of the malts with only a dash of graininess to couple with the significant sugars here and ending with a lot of earthiness, but the fake caramel is by far the strongest. Overall, a decent enough beer that is good, especially if you like caramel candy and the artificial sweetness that goes well with a 'caramel coffee' or something similar, but this is a bit contrived as executed here for the beer, but not a bad beer by any means. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Laurel, Maryland on 13-December-2022 for US$4,49 sampled on the streets of New York, New York with my wife and my kids on 15-January-2023.

Can. Pours a hazy straw color with a fluffy two-finger head that slowly dissipates to a thin head. Aromas of citrus, salt, sweet grass. Flying Fish Salt and Sea: Strawberry Lime
(Strawberry & Lime) Appearance: Pours a delicate, light yellow body with a touch of haze and a very modest, white head. Smell: Sweetish, tangy-scented a bit like a handful of Strawberry Nerds layered over light, wheat-accented malts and an acidic brine garnished with a lime wedge. Taste: You're hit with a little bolt of sweetness ahead of the strawberry additive followed by a sprinkling of crystallized lime dust for a citrusy bite. Solid salinity, soundly tart. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: Fine if a bit akin to something out of a Seagram's Escapes mix-pack. A bit sweet for me, but if they are going for a salt water taffy aspect, than it's at least understandable.

Flying Fish Abbey Dubbel
A style I like considerably, bought a 12 oz bottle of Abbey Dubbel the first I saw one since dubbels are so hard to turn up. Pulling the cap before tilting inside of my ABGB snifter. The view is a dense brown body with a here-and-gone skim of taupe foam. I find the nose to be a bit unusual. Dark fruit, malt, ash and earth. Fortunately the drink is an improvement. Ripe plums, malt, toast and a bare touch of caramel. Rather thin for a dubbel. Not bad but far from what I hoped.
