colui72	4.8 Cycle Tuesday - 2023 3-year barrel aged imperial stout w/ coconut, dried peppers, cinnamon & vanilla (coconut &+) (from label). And it's Tuesday, the weather got cooler... so... I was looking for excuses! On the nose: dried chili pepper (reminds me of ancho peppers) first, dark notes of chocolate, coconut, vanilla and mild cinnamon. Everything is powerful. Pours oily black, little head quick to dissipate, no head, oily legs on the glass. Sweet but not sickening, Mexican chocolate (chili-cinnamon-cacao combo), chili is still very aromatic. There are vanilla and wood spicy notes, and dried, toasted coconut. Round and layered. In the aftertaste lingering sweetness, wood and chili. Oily on the palate, thick with no carbonation, the chili heat blends with alcohol for a wintery throat-burning feeling. Outstanding brew, packed with what it says, ingredients suggest a beautiful harmony where balance reigns. Tuesday, April 9, 2024
b3shine	4.1 Cycle Friday - 2022 Bomber to stemless wine glass, shared with the Mrs. Pours a slightly translucent very dark cola with darker beige head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells RICH and malty with chocolate, coconut, and oak followed by a bit of almond and a touch of rye spice. Tastes like it smells with a very mildly warming and moderately bitter full-bodied mouthfeel. An enjoyable sipper. Friday, April 5, 2024
b3shine	4.2 Cycle Apple Pie Cinnamon Vanilla Draft to snifter. Pours a fairly opaque black with thin beige lacing. Smells as advertised: like apple pie with a bit of vanilla and a touch of chocolate & oak. Mouthfeel is full-bodied, mildly warming, and pleasant with a touch of tartness from the apples and spice from the cinnamon. Unique and enjoyable. Sunday, March 31, 2024

b3shine	3.7 Cycle Go Fruit Yourself Draft to snifter. Pours a very slightly translucent dull black with beige lacing. Smells malty with notes of oak and chocolate up front followed by a bit of raspberry and banana. Tastes like it smells, but with more of a raspberry presence. Mouthfeel is full-bodied and mildly warming with some notable tartness from the raspberries. Good, not great. Smells better than it tastes. Sunday, March 31, 2024

Aroma is liquorice, mild meaty (not in a bad way) tones, alcohol, some chocolate and almonds with coconut very subtle, giving a nice sweetness to the whole thing. Flavour is chocolate, some alcohol, mild almonds, some chocolate syrup with mild smoked ham tones as well as some slight tones of soy sauce way in the back. Guaro	4.2 Cycle Rare DOS R2 - Buffalo Trace (Grey Label) Nera con schiuma marrone a grana irregolare dalla veloce evanescenza. Profumo di caramello e cioccolato, toffee, note tipiche di oak, vaniglia, legno e bourbon, sullo sfondo spezie e resina. Al palato cioccolato fondente, frutta scura come ciliegia e prugna disidratata, poi molta vaniglia e nocciole tostate. Finale con fumo e tabacco e chiusura secca con decisa amaricatura resinosa. Corpo medio e tondeggiante con bassa carbonazione. Cycle con questo stile risulta sempre muscoloso ed in un certo senso spigoloso ma non è una cosa negativa, è la sua firma. Friday, March 1, 2024
