theisti	3.1 Nektar Pivo 33 cl bottle poured to glass at Three Brothers Serbian Restaurant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The pour is a light pale yellow with a foamy white head that is lasting. The aroma is soft sweet malt and not much more. The taste is clean cereal malt, softly sweet with honey malt. The palate is light bodied with soft carbonation and a pleasantly lingering sweet finish. Es ist tatsächlich ein leichtes 🪶 Lager, das aber nicht wirklich viel zu bieten hat. Goldbarren	1.7 Crni Đorđe (2010-) Zu meiner Verwunderung sind Biere der bosnisch-serbischen 🇧🇦 Brauerei Banja Luka in Triest in vielen Supermärkten gut vertreten. So kaufte ich mein Exemplar im DeSpar-Supermarkt 🌲am Bahnhof. Benannt ist es wohl nach dem heiligen Georg ⛪, den Namenspatron Georgiens, auf den sich aber auch die russischen Terroristen berufen. Es war aber ein selten grausliches Gesöff 😖, das zwar nicht pickig-süß, sondern eher herb war, aber trotzdem einen derartig widerlich verbrannten Geschmack nach Holzkohle ⚫ hatte, das man es absolut nicht empfehlen kann. Aroma of light hops. Taste is dominated by metallic edge, some nice German tasting hops, light malt, but mostly metallic. A bit of malt on the back end as the metallic washes off. Might be a decent light lager if fresh but this is not fresh, best by date be damned. Friday, January 6, 2023
