Breckenridge 471 Small Batch IPA
Enjoyed on tap at Ale House in Grand Junction, CO. I didn't take tasting notes, but remember this being a pretty strong high ABV imperial IPA with lots of citrus. Overall pretty good, would have again.

Breckenridge 72 Imperial Chocolate Cream Stout
Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body with a small fizzy brown head. The nose is sweet chocolate with a little lactose and roast. The flavor is quite sweet with vanilla and lactose with lots of milk chocolate and roastiness. Medium bodied and slightly sticky with soft carbonation and a long lingering sweet finish. Enjoyable enough, but the sweetness does get to be a bit much by the end of the bottle.

There are many vanilla porters out there with varying degrees of deliciousness. This BB vanilla porter is one of the best. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Breckenridge Vanilla Porter
Tasting flight at the taproom in Denver. Cola black with a light beige head. The aroma is soft pats, vanilla and chocolate. Nice. Smooth luscious body which is probably all down to the Nitro. The taste is sugary sweet vanilla that seems like extract plus chewey oat like malt character. Alright but I canít believe the best beer I had here was a boring amber ale. These guys brew macro-style craft...

Breckenridge Avalanche Amber
Tasting flight at the taproom in Denver. Amber with an off white head, honey biscuity malt aroma. Medium bodied with a chewey texture. This is a malt forward Amber Ale that is very English in style, the first decent beer I tried at this taproom.

Breckenridge Agave Wheat
Tasting flight at the taproom in Denver. Cloudy gold, white head, wheat, citrus (?) and agave nectar (floral) aroma. Raspy carbonation but a rough earthy flavor that then gives you wheat and some sweeter notes. No, thanks this tastes too rough and I want a wheat beer to be smooth.

Breckenridge 471 Small Batch Imperial Porter
Meh. Like the rum BA 25, kinda light and weakfish for an impy porter. dark brown pour, notes of coffee, chocolate and caramel. Not unpleasant, but sweet leaning and a little subdued.

Breckenridge Twenty Five - Imperial Vanilla Porter Aged In Rum Barrels
I donít know if itís the barreling or the beer itself (or both) but this drinks more like a strong brown ale or 6% porter than an imperial. Vanilla and rum aspects are all over this, the vanilla pleasant, the rum fruitiness an odd fit. The beer underneath is covered a lot - just light roast and caramel. Pretty pedestrian for both the style and a big anniversary.

Catch up rating from Saturdayís RS bottle share. One of the leftoverís from last yearís event. Solid sweet stout, minor barrel notes, plays nicely with palate and inherent flavors. Low ABV makes for a smooth drink also.

Breckenridge 471 Small Batch IPA
Great smell of dank resinous hops, earth, grass and a good amount of honey sweetness. See through dark orange color with a bright white tuft of foam. The taste is honey like up front but contains a hop bite afterwards that lasts well into the aftertaste. The deScription belied a hop bomb, but the real taste is way more balanced. Crushable at 9.2%, not a hint of alcohol. Comparable to Stone RuinTen, not quite as good but tastes similar. Smooth palate, overall very good from Breckenridge, a brewery that has always been hit and miss with me and one that I was definitely skeptical of since they had been bought out by InBev.

Breckenridge Barleywine Batch #1
Pours a deep amber color, with a two finger off white head that had some staying power. Aromas of hops, sweet malts, and some more hops. Flavor isnít as sweet as I was led to believe. You can taste the alcohol from the get go, what follows is a nice mellow caramel/brown sugar (I Guess) sweetness that finishes with a nice bitter hop.

Breckenridge Ophelia Hoppy Wheat
Rated on 4-10-2016 (Bottle) The appearance of this beer is a small fizzy white head that is mostly lasting, lightly hazy golden yellow body, lively, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is wheat, citrus, grapefruit, earthy, and malt. The flavor presents light bitterness, wheat, citrus, grapefruit, some malt, and this beer has a dry finish. The mouthfeel is smooth with some light carbonation. This beer is light bodied. This is an easy drinking beer with a decent taste but not all that special of a beer that I would seek it out again.
