Goldbarren	3.9 1516 Rye Simcoe Dry hopped IPA Dieses Roggen-IPA ist mit HBC 586 erstgehopft und mit Simcoe hopfengestopft. Dabei soll der Roggen ein brotiges 🍞, würziges 🌿 und tropisches 🏝️ Aroma einbringen. Und ich muss sagen, dass das ganz gut passt. Im Geruch und Einstieg kommt es einem klassischen Roggenlager mit Brot sehr nahe und geht dann über in einen würzigen, nicht zu bitteren, Körper mit Kümmel, Fenchel, aber auch Anis und Basilikum. Relativ abstrus, aber genau passend für ein Craftbier amerikanischer 🌎 Art und europäischer 🌍 Prägung und urtypisch für das Lokal. Saturday, March 23, 2024
Goldbarren	4 1516 Rumfort Double IPA getrunken als "Rumford Double IPA 24" vor Ort. Auf der Karte wirbt es mit einer Hopfung mit Eclipse, Citra und Barbe Rouge 🧔🏽‍♀️ und einer Hopfenstopfung, die ihm saftige 84 IBUs geben. Das resultiert lt. Karte in floralen, holzigen 🌴, fruchtigen, zitronigen 🍋, beerigen 🍓 und karamelligen 🧁 Körper. Nach soviel Selbstlob war ich natürlich schwer neugierig und muss sagen, dass das Bier schon mal sehr komplex ist. So riecht es gleich mal ordentlich grasig-blumig 🌹 und im ersten Schluck wärmt der Alkohol schon mal den Rachen vor. Dann kommt nach einem grasig-spritzigen Einstieg ein schwerer, fast schon brotiger 🥖 Körper mit Spiegelei 🍳.Den Abgang macht eine tiefe Bittere, die lange (und angenehm) am Gaumen bleibt, sowie eine gewisse Wärme in der Magengegend. Ein komplexes, schwieriges 🎒 Bier, das aber aufgrund seiner Aromendichte und -tiefe für jeden Bierfreund mit Erfahrung ein spannendes Objekt darstellt. Saturday, March 23, 2024
Goldbarren	3.9 1516 Ahhhroma Single Hop DDH NE IPA Endlich wieder in der bekanntesten amerikanischen🗽 Bierbar Wiens 🎡 und offensichtlich ist der Braumeister in IPA-Laune. Gleich 4 von 10 Bieren auf der Karte sind im diese Richtung. Ich beginne mit diesem Doppel-NEIPA und muss sagen, dass es echt gut ist 😊. So ist es schön ausgewogen hopfig, aber nicht zu bitter. Dazu schöne leichte blumige 🌺 Aromen, die es süffig, aromatisch und spritzig zugleich machen. Kann mich eigentlich nicht beschweren, außer das es recht klassisch ist. Saturday, March 23, 2024
