Grumbo	3 Carib Blue 8/9/2023. Bottle from Marek, cheers. Pours clear dark golden orange with a firm frothy off-whit head. Aroma is sweet, grainy, toffee, malts, sugar cane. Quite sweet caramelised taste, mild bitterness. Very smooth. Medium body, quite soft carbonation. A little clammy sweetness to finish. Not amazing but cuts well above basic Carib. Lightly sweet, some simple papery pale malts, a little cabbage, sweet grains, nips of hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. tontalus	1.9 Carib Premium Lager Das Carib Premium Lager kommt in einer klaren Flasche daher. Dann gibt es noch Glukosesirup und Hopfenextrakt auf der Zutatenlist. Das Fehlen von Ascorbinsäure und/oder einem Eiweishemmer ist höchst verdächtig. Goldgelb und glanzfein im Glas hat es eine fingerdicke, feinporige Krone, die fast sofort wieder weg ist (Eiweis ...) Beim Antrunk getreidig mit schwachem Köper, was bei hohen Temperaturen hilfreich ist. Von "vollmundig" kann keine Rede sein. Die Rezenz ist überdurchschnittlich, trotzdem habe ich hohen Trinkwiderstand. Beim Abgang geringe Bitterkeit, das Extrakt bringt keine eigenen Aromen mit.
