Hanuta06	3.8 Elkhead Liberty Cap IPA Serving: from growler--purchased at Elkhead Brewing Company. Aroma: moderate pine hop, light chocolate. Appearance: off-white, initial head. Cloudy, medium-amber body. Taste: lightly sweet, caramel initial flavor and finish with short duration. Palate: medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: excellent. after4ever	2.4 Elkhead Peach Tonic Growler. Thanks s! Pours a hazy medium amber with a scant white head. Butter and sweat on the nose. Slick medium body with soft carb. Sweat, butter, and peach on the mid palate. Mild fruity finish. Sunday, December 15, 2013
after4ever	3.3 Elkhead The Heir Draft at the Buckley location. Pours jet black with a dense and creamy dark tan head. Big sweet chocolate nose, lots of residual sugars clearly knocking around, just loaded with dense malty caramel nougaty chocolatey candy bar sweetness right from the drop. Creamy thick body, like chocolate milk, with not too much more carbonation. Some mild sweet roast, but mostly heavy chocolate and candy bar presence, mid palate is almost sticky and so is the finish. Thick and heavy and loaded with wet maltiness. Not unpleasant, despite the heavy sugariness, but definitely far to the sweet side of the flavor spectrum. Sunday, December 9, 2012

scrizzz	3.6 Elkhead Glacier Pale Orange gold, thin persistent head, dry honey cereal aroma, some corn? very summery, amber sweetness, midpalate comes across like it will be heavy, but quickly softens and dries out to a really tasty sessionable pale. Nice bronzed body with a unique IPA hop profile, probably from the emphasis of the Tettnanger hops among the hop trifecta. BillKismet	2.9 Elkhead Extra Amber bodied with a strong caramel and sweet honeyed malt nose. The flavor was a bit unbalanced towards the caramel sweetness. Hops seemed pretty muted. The nose is very fruity with big notes of dates, fig, raisin, and grain. Full body with a smooth mouth feel and flat carbonation. Flavor is very sweet and fruity, big notes of dried dark fruit, malt, light brown sugar and caramel. Finishes sweet with warming alcohol. Monday, March 1, 2010

The aroma has thick graininess, apples, dates and raisins as well as a thin layer of musty earthiness. It smells a little like wet dirty date skins. The taste is pretty sweet and becomes fruity with apples, pears and dates and then picking up notes like modest graininess and honey sweetness. Tasty interpretation. Tuesday, February 23, 2010

scrizzz	4 Elkhead Blast Zone Ominous aroma of wet jalapeno and cinnamon. Amber gold, no head from the growler pour. This beast is all flavor. I mean really. Overdone heat is lost on me, somewhere after meeting ’the man’. But I still love the flavors that different peppers provide and I’m impressed when they can be expressed without a white hot heat that distracts and punishes. This beer is awesome. Spice, heat, flavor, are all perfect. It’s everything I want (but didn’t know I needed). Light golden ale base, hodgepodge of jalapeno, anaheim, habanero, etc peppers, provide the right amount of heat and character. Killer. Monday, February 22, 2010

This was filled with flavor, body and was one excellent big Impy stout. High with alcohol over 10% and lots of good hops. Monday, February 8, 2010
riversideAK	3.8 Elkhead Black Stag Stout Nose is full of chocolate, some dark black malts, a touch of roast, but nice and sweet. Very pleasant. Pours dark brown, more or les black with a thin beige/tan head. Sweet chocolate up front and throughout with notes of complimentary roast. A touch of caramel as well. riversideAK	3.7 Elkhead Kilted Elk Lots of toasted malts on the nose, caramel, toffee, a little earthy and dry with just a hint of dark fruit. Nice and malty while not smelling incredibly sweet. Pours dark amber, hazy with a thin beige head on top. Toasted malts with solid dark fruity notes as well as caramel and a hint of green apple. Dry mouthfeel. Solid malty beer and rather drinkable.
