LilBeerDoctor	3 Jaxons Andale IPA On tap at the Airway location. Pours a clear orange amber with a thick white head. Aroma of lots of pine (actually it smells like Pine-Sol) and sweet malt. LilBeerDoctor	3.6 Jaxons Cactus Jack Amber Ale On tap at the Airway location. Pours a hazy orange brown with a thin white head. Aroma of nice caramel malt, fruits, mild bitterness. Flavor of sweet fruits/malt up front with some spicy hops in the finish. Pretty good amber (sounds like this might be prone to some bad batches, but this wasn’t one of them). Oakes	3.3 Jaxons Andale IPA Earthy hops and a little bit of baby poo - odd thing to find in an IPA. Rich, slightly resiny bitterness bordering on grapefruit. Decent IPA. Saturday, December 24, 2011

Oakes	2.8 Jaxons Borderland Lager Smells like the lime they put on the glass. Taste is malty with light caramel. Balanced, medium body and quaffable. For a standard brewpub lager, this is well made. Saturday, December 24, 2011
Beershine	3.3 Jaxons Andale IPA Draft @ Remcon location. Is warm gold with even lace. Lots of citrus peel in aroma. Weird, in the sampler got a clean beer but in large format glass some baby poo comes out. Orange peel too though. High drinkability. It feels light and refreshing. Big toasty malt carries the hop oils that linger, leaving a nice toasty taste. Has character but with the baby poo which comes out more and more is getting annoying. But based on what our neighbor and other people have said, this little flaw is a fluke. Saturday, December 24, 2011

Beershine	2.5 Jaxons Cactus Jack Amber Ale Draft @ Remcon Circle location. Dark amber, and the lace is even. Aroma is huge diacetyl overpowering! Buttery dough. Slick and oily. The butter does not carry over to flavors as much but is very slick palate and under hopped but nice malt character so manages to be drinkable, at least in small quantity. Beershine	3.2 Jaxons Borderland Lager Draft @ Remcon Circle location. In sampler set, is the only one without a head. It was served with a lime wedge. Is amber in color. Bif	2.5 Jaxons Borderland Lager On-tap- Served a nice amber color with a small head and no lacing. It came with a wedge of lime which I discarded. Has a faint aroma of malt sweetness and a bit fruity, probably from the lime wedge. Taste consists of a mild sweetness and just a faint trace of bitterness. Has a dry finish. Light body, smooth but sort of bland. Decent drinker as it goes down easy. Would make a nice session beer. I guess the lime is to hide a bit of the blandness. Friday, March 25, 2011
Bif	2.8 Jaxons Black Jack Stout Nitro-tap- Served a vertual opaque black color with a nice full head that fades slowly to good lacing. Has a roasted coffe and milk chocolate aroma. Seems to have a roasted coffee flavor with some chocolate and malt mixed in. Has a mild bitterness and a dry finish. Not quite a full bodied brew. Creamy smooth but missing something to give it that wow factor. Not bad for a couple, but doesn’t pack the punch you wold expect from a stout. Saturday, March 19, 2011
Bif	3.4 Jaxons Chihuahua Brown On Tap- Served mahogany color with a decent head that faded to good lacing. Very mild aroma, sort of a mixture of roasted malt and nuts with a hint of sweetness. Has a very mild sweetness with a mixture of caramel and malt. Quite tasty. Medium body, smooth and creamy, well balanced. Easy drinker, first one went down way too easy. Bif	3 Jaxons Andale IPA On Tap- Served a dark copper color with a good head that slowly faded to good lacing. Aroma is primarily a fresh citrus aroma. Initially has a distinct citrus bite with a trace of malt. Very dry finish. Medium body, crisp and quite refreshing. The 7.5%ABV is very well hidden. Quite drinkable, went well the the meal. nearbeer	3.4 Jaxons Chihuahua Brown Draft pint. Deep brown with not much head. Nose is chocolate, caramel, toasted nut, hints of coffee. Flavor is similar but stronger. Medium body is watery and well-balanced. Tuesday, September 21, 2010

mmmbeer	1.4 Jaxons Hefeweizen 20 oz. at the joint- extremely cloudy copper/yellow color, thin ring around the glass for a head. Very light aroma of wheat and lemon. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, wheat is apparent, middle has an odd dishwater/odd lemon taste in the background, finish fades very quickly. Thought it tasted more like an old cider than a heffy; no banana, very heavy feel, and it tasted old. Took 5 sips and sit the rest down, did not finish. And according to my wife, that NEVER happens. mmmbeer	4.1 Jaxons Chihuahua Brown 20 oz. draught at the joint- an extremely dark brown with black apparent in appearance, one finger creamy tan head formed and laced very well. Aroma of dark caramel, a roasted strong malt, and nuts. Hits the mouth with a smooth medium body, malt is tasty to say the least, middle holds up fine with nuts in the background, finish has a nice little chocolate note. Braudog	3.9 Jaxons Cactus Jack Amber Ale Draft happy hour mega pint at the Airway brewpub. Dark amber if not brown with a nice sticky head. The aroma is toasty. Quite drinkable, this is a solid flavorful brew, rich an mildly thick with caramel malts, yet easily chuggable. These kinds of beers are always underrated yet hard to make. troyc	2.7 Jaxons Panchos Porter [Tap] Pours clear and dark brown in color. Virtually no head. A light coffee and mocha aroma. Taste is lighter than expected given the color. A weak roasted malt body. troyc	3.1 Jaxons Black Jack Stout [Tap] Pours an opaque black color. A thin tan head is visible, but this beer wasn’t nitro when I went. Roasted dark malts and coffee in the nose. Lots of bitter coffee grounds in the taste. Flavoring included dark malts and dark chocolate as well. The beer was a bit thin and unnecessarily alcoholic in the finish. Monday, February 15, 2010

Roasted malts dominate the taste, with burnt caramel and a light coffee roast as well. Sweet hazelnut and fleeting vanilla notes finish it off. Medium-light palate. A decent brew! Some molasses and brown sugar in here as well. Sticky finish with low carbonation. Listed above as a Spring seasonal, but I sampled this in late December. No big problems, but uninspiring. Bockyhorsey	3.9 Jaxons Grandpas #32 Sample @ Jaxons airway location. Don’t know if this is the name of the Barley Wine sample server brought out as we were finishing diner. Fruit beer was out and they just put this one online. Amber body with off white head. Good sweet fruit flavor and aroma. Could also detect alcohol punch in aroma and flavor also.
