Aroma: zachtjes zoet, tropisch fruitig, moutig. Gemiddeld mondgevoel. Jerre	3.7 Baja Pelirroja Met dank aan Ymke & Lennert. Thuis geproefd van 35,5 cl op 1 mei 2023. Bijna helder amber met een gebroken witte kraag. Aroma: zoetje, karamel, iets kruidigs, licht geroosterde mout, hoppige toets. Gemiddeld mondgevoel komt beter over dan de 5,5%. Smaak: zoetje, karamel, tikje kruidig, gemiddelde koolzuurprikkel, zachte hopbitterheid. Mijn eerste Mexicaans biertje en goedgekeurd. Tuesday, May 2, 2023

BlackHaddock	3.5 Baja Escorpion Negro 15th March 2023, mini-regional tasting with minutemat at my place. 12floz can brought back from the US by me. Surprisingly good to be fair. Black bodied, not slick or rich, but a lot fuller than a lot of Schwarzbier. Toffee and pleasant maltiness to it, almost hop-less but not overly sweet. Friday, March 17, 2023
minutemat	3.7 Baja Escorpion Negro 355ml can shared with blackhaddock in his beer cave. Hazed dark appearance, good tan head. Lovely aroma encompassing caramel, roasted malt and chocolate. Good depth of flavours... dark caramel, dark malt, roast, cocoa with a mild smoky finish alongside a little more caramel. Light, drinkable and flavoursome. Really decent. Thursday, March 16, 2023
brokensail	3.1 Baja La Surfa Can @ ReBru Spirits. Clear golden beer with a white head. Has a grainy sweetness to it with a decent bit of corn flakes and general “cereal” qualities. theisti	3.2 Baja Blonde 16 oz draft at Flora Farms in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. The pour is a slightly hazed golden copper with a foamy 1/2 inch egg white head. The aroma is pretty faint, just some cereal grain malt. The taste is clean grain, cereal malt and a soft hint of floral. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a clean finish. theisti	3.2 Baja Peyote India Pale Ale 12 oz bottle poured into a glass at Solomon's Landing in Los Cabos, Mexico. The pour is a clear amber tangerine orange with a minimal off white head. The aroma is cracker malt, pine bitterness and some floral behind it. The taste is a decent mix of the cracker malt, the floral hop and the bitterness from the pine hops. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation and lingering bitter finish. Old school IPA, easy to drink. Sunday, February 19, 2023

The aroma is roasty, sweet cane sugar and caramel malt. The taste is a clean black lager, nice balance between roast, cane sugar and malt character. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation and some roast coffee notes in the finish. Nice one. Sunday, February 19, 2023

BlackHaddock	3.6 Baja Por Favor Mexican IPA 12Fl Oz can from a Total Wine & More store. Drank at my daughters place in Laguna Hills on 14th December 2021. Chosen because it will be my first beer from Baja California Sur. Poured slowly into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip shaped glass. Misty dark brown/mahogany body, smooth topping of beige foam. Piney hops rule the nose and initial taste, as it warmed in the glass a grainy/malty aroma and flavour begins to arrive. The malty injection isn't enough to take over though and the beer is hoppy and fairly bitter throughout. Liked it, no Citrussy hops to be found! Wednesday, December 15, 2021

Mr.Spooks	3.2 Baja Por Favor Mexican IPA Kinda worrisome when you see a “Best By” date on an IPA that’s six months in the future. As is, Por Favor isn’t terrible; kinda reminiscent of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale more than an IPA, really. Lots of caramel malt, a little orange zest and grapefruit, and a pine bitterness on the finish.
