Have been rating beers since the late 70’s. Always on a quest for new breweries and beers. I used to be obsessed with building my ratings numbers, but now, I’m really into quality, not quantity. There are a plethora of RateBeer members who boast ratings in the tens of thousands, but I wonder if they really enjoy the tastes and experiences of enjoying a new beer for the first time. I am proud to say that as of December 2023, l have tasted and rated more than 700 Top 50 beers including 24 number ones and 30 number twos! Life is too short to drink crap beer
