Vistited in July 2023. Lovely, worn in, crowded little pub with very friendly staff and customers. Benefits from the existence of a world class beer culture throughout the region, and the enormous beer list is something extra. Down to earth, yet world class kind of place.

Visited August 2023. Located in Brugge‘s old town in a small and narrow street. This is a classic old fashioned Belgian pub with wooden interior and many metal beer plates on the walls. Huge beer bottle list, like Kulminator huge. 5 taps. Reasonable prices, friendly service, almost no tourists, only beer people. They serve food as well, but obviously this is not a place where you would eat. Overall a great experience. Best place to visit.

Visited on 31st May 22, not so busy, but it was a Tuesday evening, the tap list was good, I had an IPA actually, there was some geuze, it’s cosy and relaxed inside. Nice place

The place where it all started for me about special beers. On a weekday in March 1985 me and some friends ended up in 't Brugs Beertje. Just a pub so we thought. But that night Jan de Bruyne, (at that time I did not know about him being the biggest authority on beer in Belgium) did spend quite some time teaching me more about beer than anyone else did before and after. A truly remarkable and unforgettable experience. Thank you. (3-1985).

Classic Belgian brown bar. Excellent beer selection. Prices are lower than average. Excellent draft list that changes very often. Rare lambic's from pump. Local beers and special beers. Ambiance is cosy, visited by lots of locals as well as tourists. Very friendly owners, they will help you with selecting your beer if you can't decide.
