“Wine and beer shop in Decatur. Pretty good selection of Alabama beers and other beers that are distributed to the area. Prices seemed fair. There is a pretty good amount of singles available. Make sure to check the dates on stuff, as there was some old beer around. Overall a nice spot for if you are in the area but don't have time to hit Huntsville.“

“Located in downtown Decatur which is weird to write since I didn’t know Decatur had a downtown. There’s some street parking but there’s also a lot behind the princess theater which is within a block. This Mellow Mushroom had the typical psychedelic theme with the bar on the side. They had about 30 taps with a 1/3 Alabama beers which is good. The others were mostly craft but nothing too adventurous. Unlike Huntsville the beer prices were reasonable. It’s a fairly new place so they’re still working out the bugs like serving the appetizer the same time as the main course but the bar staff was friendly and they ended up comping the appetizer without us having to say anything. If they continue to sell Founders Centennial IPA for $3.50 a glass we might have to drive over here more often.“
