“Thought I had rated this. As GoT said, its moved around, and the brewing ops have changed names I guess. Food is great, beer selection is good, cocktails great. If you're in orlando and want to see its best restaurants, this is the place.“

“This is a must-stop in Orlando. Great food and good beer. The location has changed a few times, so the Ratebeer reviews are a little confusing. Previously, Cask and Larder and Ravenous Pig were at separate locations. The original Ravenous Pig closed and moved to the location where Cask and Larder lived. They were always owned by the same people. So, if you go look at the CLOSED locations for Cask and Larder and Ravenous Pig, you will see reviews for the same place. “

“Part of the Orlando tour with GodofThunder. Really neat old school pub feel brewery restaurant. Very good customer service and assistance. The beers were all decent and well made. Didn't try the food, but it smelled and sounded delicious. An all time classic for Orlando and must hit.“

“Can for birthday dinner. Best restaurant beer spot I’ve found in Orlando. Food is excellent hipster farm to table. Adventurous eating especially for this town but very tasty. Great cocktail menu and whiskey list. Beers are their own brewed on site believe they are changing brewery name form Cask & Larder to Ravenous Pig all same ownership. Beers are decent not terribly exciting but like 10 available and flights and bar area to try. Ambiance is cool.“

“Swung by prior to dinner in area and will certainly try and come back. Very cool decor attached to great coffee spot and is also a distillery so hell yea. 11 taps 9 of their own all in different styles much appreciated. Only tried one and grabbed a growler but this one was solid. Friendly server cool spot.“

“Stopped by here on a whim after seeing the gigantic wait at 4 Rivers Smokehouse- eff that. Staff here at first was a bit snotty, but calmed down. Burger list was extensive with a lot of variety. Beer list was heavy on bottles but the small tap list included CCB. Nothing on this list caught my eye, though it was impressive for a small burger joint. Outdoor rear patio seating was very nice, however there was a powerful septic tank odor originating from an unknown location. I tried to find the origin but failed. House ketchup was outstanding, our table was practically fighting over it. Fries and burgers were good especially as an LA burger nazi. Fun place overall to grab a bite.“

“A classic Irish pub, with part of the bar actually from Ireland. The owner is straight from the isle and it’s a welcome home to plenty of ex-pats that sit at the end of the bar. The service is solid, but don’t expect anyone outside of a couple bartenders to know a whole lot about beer. Selection is solid; 24 taps with a solid bottle list and great whiskey selection. Two of the taps are always Guinness, but there are some solid other choices. Food is great, authentic Irish cuisine done right. Weekend nights get packed with college kids though and it can get a little nuts. Overall, a nice place to get a taste of Ireland, but not Orlando’s best for beer freaks.“

“This place rocks and if you go on a weekend night, expect to wait! It’s kind of a small place in a stip mall, but the food is genuine New Orleans out of this world and if you like bayou, you’ll find it here. Service is with a smile and mostly Abita beers on tap.“

“I’ve lived in Orlando / Winter Park for 10+ years and this is my favorite place to get beer and spirits (other than Redlight). If you’re lucky enough to arrive on a day when Murph(y) is working, you’re in for a real treat. This place is pretty tiny but it’s packed with some serious gems. From Sour Ales to Scorpion Tequila, they have a great selection of hard-to-find enjoyables without any pretenses. On the corner of University and Goldenrod. REALISTIC!“

“One of my favorite irish pubs. The atmosphere is as authentic as it comes, the brews while not the fanciest, are true to the region they’re repping, and the whiskey list is a nice side bar to it. The real winner here is the food though, as every meal feels like a home cooked escape from dublin rains, and you don’t have to go too far to relate to that here in florida.“

“Big C’s is the all inclusive epitome of the independent craft beer spot. With one of the longest running, and best selections, a knowledgeable and friendly staff that makes other chain retailers look plain ignorant, and some of the best prices in town it just plain kicks ass. Sure, you could overlook the sometimes crowded space (they’re definitely outgrowing themselves rapidly), but the reality is, that’s just more stock for you to enjoy, and they so frequently have the beers I can’t find anywhere else, I wonder why I even bother looking anywhere else first. Big C’s may not be the flashy warehouse approach, but it’s got everything you need, and a hell of a lot more heart.“

“Alright man, this is definitely the place Phish would eat some ’zza. Dude, they have Tempeh salads. They also have a few beers on tap, of course, and they rotate them out fairly frequently. You can usually rely on some friendly, apathetic standbys (Orange Blossom Pilsner, Seadog Blueberry, Blue Moon), and sometimes some excellent stuff (Cigar City Jai Alai). For a pizza joint, not bad. Don’t bother asking for extensive info about the beers from servers. They can serve pizza, but their beer knowledge does not typically run deep. They’ve probably had the current taps, but they seem more interested in swallowing the beer... not so much drinking it.“

“Nice shop with a heavy interest in Belgians. Feels like you’re in a regular old liquor store (complete with stained tile floors and dusty liquor bottles along the walls), but they have the real stuff too. This was the first place I ever got La Trappe (oh those old days when I was but a 21-year-old newbie). They have a ton of glassware, and aren’t above a 12-pack of Rolling Rock. Prices are pretty average to high. Mostly frequented by a college crowd with *average* taste, but you can find some gems here. Stop in if you’re over in East Winter Park and need something for a beer acolyte.“

“I love Fiddler’s Green, but it is more of a love of familiarity. They play soccer games on the TV, they let local sports clubs get together in the side rooms, they have real dart boards, they have great musicians perform there, they have (usually) good food, and they have a very UK/Rep. Ireland-centric beer selection. The service isn’t always stellar, but it is usually passable. These days more microbrews are making an appearance on the taps, but this is really the sort of place you go when you want good fish and chips and a properly poured pint of Guinness or Murphy’s Stout. Decent bottle selection, too. If you’re timing your visit with the entertainment, let me suggest you plan on being there on a night when Cahir O’Doherty is strumming, or the Wyndbreakers are bringing the tunes (weird name, I know, but great guys and great performers). Full liquor bar, too, and a pretty damned good Scotch selection.“

“It’s what you would expect a pub to be. Dark, dirty, and rugged. The tables are wobbly and the chairs are uncomfortable. All part of the charm I say. The food is pretty good too.“

“Great pizza and a good selection of beers on tap. The servers are just that, servers, and do not know anything about the beers on tap. But that’s okay because it is a pizza joint not a bar. And for a pizza joint this place serves up some good beers.“

“I wish pizza parlors were like that in Canada. The pizza was delicious (house pizza) and they have 21 taps of good micro offering (well, there was one Yuengling). A great little place for pizza. Sampler flight, 4 X 4 on for 5.25$.“

“This place deserves a higher rating. We all know we are limited in finding craft beer on certain sides of town and they have a good selection of warm bottles in addition to the cold ones. There is only one guy that truly is into craft beer and he’s super cool, the others know zilch. Little dumpy, cramped... but they get a good amount of my business.“

“Walking into this place, I was given a sample of some "organic" gin, so right off the bat, that made a good impression. Craft section is pretty decent for Florida, had three cigar city brews when I was there, some Ommegang that I picked up and a pretty solid Belgian section. Definitely a go-to store in the area, they had all the craft staples you’d expect (Bell’s, DFH, Stone, etc.). Didn’t really get to talk beer with the staff, but after picking up 2 cigar city bottles the guy who checked me out didn’t even comment, so I’m thinking he was a typical un-enlightened one thinking in his head, "huh, $13 for a 750 bottle, you could get a 30 rack of Natty for that". Overall though, from what I’ve seen in the rest of the state, this place was worth stopping by.“

“Love this place! Great food and a decent beer selection. They rotate the draught beer regularly, but you can count on a few staples every time you visit. The last time I visited (about a month ago) I had a Rogue Dead Guy Ale and a couple of Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA’s. Don’t go to Mellow Mushroom unless you have some time to spend. All of the food is hand made to order and it isn’t quick. It is delicious and a pretty good value. “

“Dark, dingy and dirty pub in the ersatz Irish style. Service slow and devoid of any beer knowledge, so don’t ask ’what is the ABV of this?’ unless you want a blank stare. Although early evening, tables were sticky with stale beer residues. Beer when it arrived was in terrible condition - virtually no carbonation, stale with zero head. Fullers ESB an awful example of old, tired and flabby beer served flat as a millpond, with none of the complexity of the real thing. Couldn’t wait to leave and go to Redlight, Redlight. Do not drink here unless you are desperate.“

“This is a full liquor store with a pretty good selection of beers. Most of the beer is sold cold and you can’t break up six packs. Decent selection of bombers, and they usually are one of the first places in the Orlando area with Cigar City brews. You’re on your own in this store. Don’t expect to get any help unless you ask for it, and then you still may not get any. Pluses for selection, minuses for not selling many singles and most of the beer being cold.“

“Nice Irish Pub with about 20 beers on tap. Surprised to see they had CC Jai Alai and it was a good treat. Also have a bunch of beers in bottles but nothing too crazy but decent. “Love this place especially once they get to know you. Service is faster once you are seen a few times and beer selection is good. Lots of beer on tap and always one or two taps changing. Bottle selection is decent. Food is great especially the fish and chips. Also have some good bands at times. I visit at least once a week and won’t stop going here. Would be better if there were no preppy Rollins students.“

“This is a nice enough store with good size and space for everything. They seem to be trying to expand the amount of beer they have. The have a display in the front and one row of beer plus a wall of coolers with some craft stuff in a couple of the coolers. The could really do more with the space that they have though. The beers have ratebber tags on them, but I don’t think the staff even knows what it means. The service isn’t great at all. They have a pretty good selection and get some special release stuff which is cool. Their prices are decent, but are kind of high on the singles. Overall this is probably your best bet if you aren’t close to Knightly Spirits.“

“Visited in late July on a weekend afternoon. My friend and I were the only people at the bar, so the service was excellent. Small but good tap and bottle selection including the likes of DFH (60 and 90 minute), Shipyard, Lost Coast, Widmer in addition to some local beers and belgian ales. Unquestionably the food is excellent here and the beer selection should satisfy most. If you are in the area, definitely worth a stop.“

“This place is an excellent incarnation of the anti-chain. They have incredible pizza with solid beers to back up the pizza. They have DFH 90 and 60 on tap always and they cycle 2 or 3 seasonal taps. Some of their seasonal choices are wacky (last time I went it was Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat). The place is tiny (it used to be a Boston Market) and when it’s busy it’s REALLY busy. I will go out of my way to come back here.“

“Fiddler’s is a landmark of Winter Park. It is a cozy little Irish Pub that has a lot more space than it looks like from outside. They offer complimentary valet on busy nights. They have typical Irish beers (Guiness, Smithwicks, Murphy’s, etc.), but they also have Germans and American Micros on tap like Lagunitas IPA, Hacker-Pschorr, and Wittekirke. In bottles they have Delirium Tremens, La Fin, and some other occasional surprises. The prices will get to you after a few pints, though. $19 for a pitcher of Lagunitas IPA, $8 for a bottle of Delirium. The service is always dependable and the food is very good, plus they are open late with valet. Always enjoyable, if I have some extra cash.“
