“In the centre of town with outside seating. A warm vibe, very different to their industrial brewpub outside of the city. Large choice of taps“

“Also known as Kompaan Thuishaven. Out in a industrial part of town, bused it out but had to walk back the 4 km's. Large taproom with viewing windows overlooking the water. Good friendly service with 19 taps, 10 there own, the rest collaborations & guests.“

“Located in the outskirts of town but not too far from a walk. Industrial looking area near the water. Massive building, warehouse and brown bar mix look, in fact they were ready to host a 80 people office party when we were there. Lots of people working here and a large amount of taps, small bit of the operation visible. Prices were fair, and they had a wide variety of styles on tap. We tried two different beers, Porter and a Pale Ale, very 2000s Belgium inspired Dutch craft but this is De Prael in the end. Not the best or most exciting beers but there were no flaws in them. Service was quick. Food available, no vegan options. A few more limited bottles available as well. Wouldn't necessary specially go here but it is fine to have a beer.“

O'Casey's (Bar)
NOORDEINDE 140
“Fairly central, larger side Irish pub, dark green, lots of wood, quite a big bar area, sport and TV's arround including in the toilet, but they're placed also in a way that you can easily ignore them. Gets quite busy and popular so reserving might be recommended. Beers sold in pints at fair prices. Fair number of taps, standard industrial rubbish like Kilkenny, Grolsh, Guinness but also Kinnegard, Punk IPA & Kompaan Dry Stout brewed for them. Kinnegard and De Kompaan beer were a very nice addition and really improved the place. Looked very Christmas like despite minimal decorations. Very quick service, friendly people. They brag about winning a bunch of awards but it is a pleasant bar for sure definitely helped by having Irish craft beer. Pub food is available, definitely worth swinging by for a pint and trying the house beer if it becomes a regular.“

“Central, looks small at first but when you explore the selection you find lots of cool bottles and cans. 3 taps / growler station. Prices are okay given the location and general prices. One fridge with largely hoppy stuff, rest displayed in the store. Man behind the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable and knew something about every beer it seemed. Dutch beers but also UK, US etc. Modern style craft focus. We picked up a good amount of interesting stouts and Christmas beers.“

“Nice to have this place given how the brewery is way in the outskirts of town. 20 taps, modern bit BrewDog looking bar with lots of place but it was very calm, large bar, eating / open kitchen section in the back. Okay prices. A very modern craft beer experience, not very individual as a bar but a good place to drink some decent beers. Tried about 6 beers except for one with diacetyl, all were decent, not the greatest beers but good solid beers, IPA, DIPA, TIPA, Baltic Porter, Stout etc. Vegetarian but no vegan beer available. A bit too cookie cutter but also exactly what I hopped that it would be so overall definitely a good place. Beers available in 15, 20, 40 cl.“

“Basement bar, brick arches, hipster feel and look, calm when visited. BrewDog sign outside and layout and all make you think a bit of BrewDog but not one of their bars. Prices were not too bad, beers were largely from bigger name breweries like Uiltje, De Molen, Pompeian and for some reason the vile Estaminet from De Palm, probably since De Palm is popular in NL but that beer is horrendous. Larger breweries had their logos displayed as well making it feel a bit like they had bought their taps. Not bad beers but felt like someone desided to cash in on craft beer with not much knowledge of it. Food menu also looked BrewDog inspired, not very exciting but decent enough bar for a beer. Friendly service.“

“Basement bar all the way and very crowded on a wednesday evening. Eclectic mix of beer on tap when visited from Weihenstephaner to Cascade, Nøgne Ø 17 % Barley Wine, defiently the most interesting selection of beers that I saw on this visit in Den Haag. Despite large number of people service was quick. Atmosphere was good. They had a vegan ham / cheese toastie available, liquor selection looked interesting. Number of fridges. Cool place and one you should definetly hit when in Den Haag.“

“Hostel upstairs apparently, downstairs bar was going for quaint I suppose but it felt just rundown, shabby and not kept up well. Less dive and more just tired and not much done to it, I think they were aiming at cool. Service was friendly but it is very much a place that isn't run overly professional. Lam pils on tap which seems to be made for this place? It wasn't too good. Most of the special beers weren't that interesting had a poor Irish beer, decent prices, only interesting bottles were Nøgne Ø and Hair of the Dog, 17.50 euro is fair for the later but not really a beer to get casually. I didn't really get the love that this place gets.“

“Popular location, massive inside, pub looking, gorgeous Christmas decoration. Dull taps Fransiskaner, Her tog Jan etc. Lots of food available, tried vegan bitterballen with oyster mushrooms but wasn't either impressed. They do concerts here. About 30 bottles available but it didn't get much more exciting than Jopen NEIPA. They have their own lemonade which was okay. Gorgeous interior but just not much of a place for specialty beer.“

“MrsSHIG and I spent the day in Den Haag while on holiday in Netherlands. This was a must stop for us on the schedule. It didn't disappoint as I was able to get a couple elusive Netherlands regional ticks. Very calculated stock and the prices were on par to what you would expect.“

“Rather small corner bar in the centre of The Hague. Got veeery lucky when visiting because they had a live jazz band playing. They organize live music frequently, apparently. Kudos to them! The bar is rather small, though, so it was basically impossible to move (or order a beer) during the band's exibition. Selection on tap (don't know about bottles) was limited to 5-6 beers, but interesting and not the usual ones. Overall, I liked this place, and I'm eager to return next time in town.“

“Placed in a small square/parking in the centre of The Hague. The bar is veeery old school, probably its walls haven't been cleaned in ages (don't know if they got dirt or mold, but some parts are almost black), credit cards don't work properly. The gentleman at the bar (presumably the owner) gets easily distracted by other customers and is a little difficult to get his attention. Selection was small on tap, but large in bottles. Overall, though, I would not return. I prefer cleaner places.“

“Large and busy british pub in the centre of The Hague. Old school, but nice. Service was not very attentive, but indeed there was a large crowd of people. Selection on tap is actually fairly limited, with three of their own beers (this is also a brewpub), and 10 standards, like lager, weizen and famous Belgian beers. But the availability of bottles is very large, including most beer styles. I counted more than 170 beers, excluding the zero-alchool ones. My burger was pretty good. Overall, a nice solution for a dinner with friends and some good beer.“

“The bar is located in front of a canal. Its major selling point, more than the beer list, are the tables outside, along the canal and on a boat that is kept in front of the bar. Wonderful at night! Service was OK. Selection was OK, but quite average.“

“Small store of the monastry, selling their own Haagsche Broeder beers and some other monastric stuff. Nice beers, quite hard to find elsewhere. Very friendly staff. Located in Den Haag city center, payed parking nearby but you have to have a little walk. Don't forget to visit their chapel on first floor when you're there.“

“A very nice internetsite with a lange selection of low/alcoholfree beers. Some beers are a little bit overpriced, but luxury needs to be paid...and no hangover the day after is also a very nice thing. As a non alcoholic beerdrinker this site surprises me every time with its changing selection, yes, there are still beers who taste like cardboard, but nowadays it' s a lot better than 10 years ago. And it gets more better every day. Say Cheers....“

“Nice Dutch web shop with a high quality selection of beers from all over Europe with a small focus on Dutch beers, of course. Pricing is fine compared by Dutch standards, delivery is super quick. The only real downside is the navigation as you have to browse the beers by styles with no possibility to show all of them at once. Definitely worth trying out!“

“Dutch web shop for craft NA or low alcohol beers only. Impressive selection from Dutch and European breweries, many of them specialized in brewing NA beers. Seems like they stock new beers on a very regular basis. Prices are far from cheap, there's hardly any difference with regular craft beers. The site is easy to navigate, packaging is solid, delivery is very quick. Recommended.“

“Since my alcohol tolerance has gone down to zero, might as well revert to drinking zero. Webshop specialized in no- or low alcohol (craft) beers only. Great niche. Nice selection from UK, Poland, NL and some others, but don't expect hundreds of beers as there aren't that many N/A craft beers yet. Prices weren't cheap, in the range of 'normal' craft (not the hyped OJ IPA's or pastry stouts though) but fair I guess. Orderly webshop, easy to navigate and order, beers were packed in a sturdy box and delivered the next day, accompanied by a hand-written note. Nice touch. If I ever again need a stash of N/A beers I'll definitely use this site again.“

“Thanks ratebeer app for losing my review, grrr. Nice big place with terrace seating on the square. Free wifi. Friendly service. Their beer selection seems to have gone downhill with 4 guest taps and 7 guest can beers. Not cheap at 5.50 for a 33cl glass. If I was coming to the Hague for the 1st time, this wouldn't be my first port of call for a craft beer“
