“Beer shop. I was here during the 3 valleys beer festival. Good bottle selection and free WiFi. Very close to the train station and the Dronfield Arms“

“Lovely place close to the train station. Plenty of choice including their own Hopjack beers. There's a glass window in the floor and you can see into the brewery. Free wifi“

“With the new brewery in the cellar this has become the Dronfield pub with the most exciting beer. The brewery can be seen through a glass floor. Good outdoor area. Can get very busy at weekends.“

“As the Three Tuns was closed for the week, and the Coach and Horses was a fair trek away, I decided to try this smart brewpub near the station. It didn’t disappoint. A great selection of seven ales from Abbeydale, Redwillow, Neepsend and their own Hopjacker brewery. A few excellent keg beers from producers such as BAD and Brass Castle as well. Beers tend toward the hoppy, which is fine with me. An excellent discovery.“

“It doesn’t get much better than this. A Thornbridge pub outside the oldest football club in the world. 6 Thornbridge cask, 4 keg and a lot of bottles. It’s a great brewery so I’m not fussed about the relative lack of guests, although tickers who have gone through Thornbridge’s oeuvre may gripe a bit. The stuff dreams are made of.“

“Quaint and cozy pub. Drove 50 min from Derby, and worth it. Lots of Thornbridge beer on tap, also many Thornbridge bottles. Great beer, good atmosphere, a definite stop if you are in the area.“

“Off-Licence with 2 cask ale hand pumps. Very good range of bottled beers, including beers from the likes of Siren Craft, Kernel, De Molen and Wild Beer Co. Outstandingly good value.“

“At the front of Sheffield FC. Cracking boozer, cracking beers and cracking service. What’s not to like! There must be some good pubs around here as this is not in the current GBG! Seek it out.“

“Thornbridge pub, with plenty of Thornbridge beers on cask & keg and a very good bottled beer range as well. More expensive then the 3 Tuns on the other side of town but then again Thornbridge do make beer to a higher standard then Spire, especially where the hoppy stuff is concerned. “

“12 real ales, mostly from Spire. guest beers from the likes of Partners, Full Mash, Black Iris, Blakemere & Oxfordshire. Some decent kegged beers from time as well (Sierra Nevada Pale Ale made an apprance on draft recently). The beer list is however slanted a little bit in the darker, maltier direction, which is a contrast to the Thornbridge pub on the other side of town. Friendly atmosphere & service, and a good pub quiz as well.“

“Stopped here for Sunday lunch with friends to break the car journey on the way back from a wedding in N Yorks - Sep ’10. Right behind is Sheffield FC’s football ground and a womens game had just finished - the pub was well attended by Sunday lunchers and lady footballers. Beers on offer were largely Thornbridge, I also had a pint of Dark Star - Espresso (an old favourite). The food was very good as was the service, despite the place being chocca. Well worth the 15 minute detour from the M1.“

“Great Thornbridge pub attached to Sheffield F.C. Try and visit once a week. Range of 5 Thornbrige beers on cask plus 2 on keg. Often a guest keg and some continental lagers/fruit beers. Small but perfectly formed bottle list beers from Belgium, US and Thornbridge. Comfortable modern decor and tasty food. Very good!“

“Delightfull. Five Thornbridge beers on handpull, Moravka lager on tap, decent continental bottles, the most sublime meals, cool music in the background, bus direct from Sheffield and Chesterfield stops outside, train from Sheffield/Derby runs close by... do you need to know more? Shame on you!“
