“Two brewery houses with a big outdoor seating area in between them. Live music, games, good food and good beer. They have a 21+ area upstairs, but it was closed on Sat afternoon. Worth the stop.“

“Great beer selection, and always growing too. This is my "go to" place for good, unique beers. They advertise 80 beers, but they actually have over 150 beers. All the beers are available as singles or 4-packs, and you can get them to go or enjoy them on-site. They also have a small rotating selection of draft beers. The owner is a really great, down to earth beer lover who will happily help you find your next favorite beer. The food is also really good. Classic pub fare with some unique items too. It's not a big place, so it can get a little loud and crowded at peak times, but it's worth it. Great beer. Great people. Great food. You'll be sorry if you skip this place...“

“Old storefront converted to typical American pub with a glassed-in brewery in the middle. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed despite a middling-size gathering, but they stayed on top of things, quite friendly. Beers were sturdy if unremarkable. Decent variety to choose from. Food offerings are typical pub fare as well. They aren't delivered with very good visual appeal, but in the end all tasted pretty darn good. Brewery #933.“

“Previous descriptions still hold true. Huge outdoor space that must be lovely during good weather, a little rougher on a wet, cool night that I visited. Inside's not that big. Typical set up, decent variety of selections to try. All the ones we tried were OK to good. Staff was too busy to be super friendly, but they were efficient and quick. This is a regular spot for my local friends who like their beer better than other nearby choices. Brewery #931.“

“Just hopped in for growler to go on way back from beach. Cool decor pretty packed with folks eating and a nice looking game room in back with darts set up I’d would’ve like to try. Seems like a fun joint for watching sports and hanging out and nice variety of styles. Only drinking the one brew which is nice enough. If nearby is hit up again.“

“Nice place to have light brews and traditional food in sportsbar. I like the staff and the food. May not be too geeky but that males it more interesting.“

“My go-to store for most beer singles. Usually a good selection, but sometimes the shelves aren't stocked well and/or beers are mixed up and not priced (prices missing) so you can't tell the price until you try and check out. The staff is a mixed bag; Some are helpful and some are clueless. So the experience is a crapshoot, but it's typically the best option in the area.“

“This is Homer's go to Total Wine, so naturally a made a stop. Pretty solid selection actually. Tasting bar open at specified times. Still plenty of BCS and BCBW on shelves. I guess its more a sign of my current status on the beer dork curve that scrolled past. Plus I was in a hurry to go meet Homer.“

“This is Homer's stomping ground, so naturally I met him here. Large space with a sizable outside courtyard, a second bar outside as well. Permanent food truck with an interesting and tasty mix of meaty goodness. Bar and long picnic style tables inside. Totally hopping on Wednesday night, mostly outside. Apparently its runners night or something; lots of sweat. Flights available. Beer quality varied a lot, but as the kids song goes, when it was good, it was very very good... Had a lot of fun hanging out with Homer, Mrs. Homer and friends. I can see why they like the spot.“

“Typical location in terms of selection: i.e., a huge selection with some emphasis on local brews. I found way too many beers on the shelves without signs and, much worse, without pricing. Also, the selection of refrigerated beers was smaller than I usually see in more northern locations. I received erroneous pricing on an item from on-floor personnel (plural) and had to get several bottles slowly priced at the register. As usual for Total Wine the upcharge for single bottles (versus 4- or 6-packs) is quite steep.“

“Somewhere between new school industrial and hunting lodge on the decor, but the game room in back feels completely different. Service was decent, friendly and attentive. Styles across the board, and an extensive wine list for those who don't like beer. They do not serve food, but plenty within walking or delivery distance.“

“A nice facility with the brewery visible thru glass in the back. About 8-9 "seasonal" and 5-6 core beers on tap, plus one likely overpriced ($13 for 12 oz) bottle of BBL aged stout. No guest taps. Flights available.“

“This is easily Melbourne’s best brewery and is certainly the newest. Though they do not serve food, they offer several menu options for delivery service. They spent quite the fortune renovating this downtown landmark and it is certainly an oasis in a beer desert. As the train passes outside, the building shakes a bit. There were plenty of servers keeping the patrons glasses full. I look forward to what this place continues to put out.“

“This is more of a sports bar than brewery, and the beers are average, at best. The service was mediocre - one bar tender with several staff just standing around. I did not eat but the food looked good, especially the guy next to me who pulled clean bones away from BBQ’d meat.“

“This is a small brewery in Melbourne serving a variety of beer styles. There are games for you or families with several large picnic tables for seating aside from a dozen and a half bar stools. The beers are of varying quality and include some one-offs. The service was hit-or-miss, focusing mainly on the regulars they know.“

“A bit older BBQ restaurant/brewpub which seemed to be quite popular among the families and groups. Meatloaf with smashed potatoes I had was probably the best meal I had in FL. Unfortunately beers are not much to talk about. Sampler was very cheap: 4 USD for 7 beers. Service was ok. For food and ticks.“

“Beer is mostly in the back middle of the store. Plenty of U.S. and local brews, but their strength is imports: especially beers from Germany and Scotland. Most are kept room temperature. Plenty of singles available but these are mostly imports and mixed-6 packs are not available.“

“The taproom is right in the brewery. There’s a small bar and about 7 large picnic tables. Board and card games available. Ample free parking. The brewery regularly introduces new beers, retiring others. 32 oz and 64 oz growler fills available. Update: continues to offer frequent and innovative tap changes. Brewery and public areas have both expanded with a nice outdoor area now available.“

“with over 70 beers on tap, none of which are macro brews, this is a clearcut craft beer winner. Adding to this appeal are a very good bottle shop downstairs, an nice upper level terrace with good views, and very good food.“

“What desurfer said. Nice little place. The house beers were rock solid. I was there on a Sunday afternoon, so I had the whole place to myself. Bartender and brewer were super-friendly. Plenty of parking. At least one TV, maybe more. I don’t visit Melbourne much, but I really need to hit this place again.“

“Unassuming location just off of US-1 in Eau Gallie. Spartan but nicely decorated inside with picnic tables and a bar. Decent selection of beers and a variety of portion sizes. The rack of board games is a nice touch; playing Connect-4 and drinking beer is always fun. Worth a visit for sure.“

“I was in Melbourne for work and had this place recommended to me. Great selection and great prices, at least for a northerner like me. Cool location with a roof bar that allegedly overlooks the water from a distance (it was night when I went, though). Pretty good food, also with reasonable prices. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.“

“This place is a gem. Through the front door, you enter their bottle shop. 300+ bottles of beer plus bourbon, whiskey, scotch, rum, tequila, and wine. There were plenty of bottles I wouldn’t find at a Total Wine. There is a covered, open air seating to eat outside, plus a bar and tables inside. I think they had 68 taps. The selection was pretty solid and not overly priced. Overall, I will come back whenever I’m in the neighborhood.“

“Located in a strip mall near the beach, Coasters is the best choice for a decent mixture of handles, food and ambiance on the Space Coast. While the beer selection is not as stellar as found in some beer-centric establishments, it is decent considering the area. Service was attentive, the food was good, and the beer in good condition. Fun place that I’ll be sure to frequent when in town.“

“Inside is like an Irish style sports pub, out back is an authentic German beer garden. Staff was decently knowledgeable, must be tough to deal with locals who think Newcastle is a great beer. Couldn’t beat the selection anywhere else in town, but if you’re a craft beer fan, nothing mind blowing. Didn’t try the food, but looked like typical pub fare. A little pricier than in used to, but not crazy. Definitely the best place in the area.“

“Lots of BBQ and bar food. The buffalo shrimp are my favorite. Usually have 4 of the ’typical’ brewed beers; Wickham Wheat, Anniversary, Brown, and Red on and 1 or 2 special series beers. Lots of TVs with the NFL package. overall, and enjoyable sunday of beer and football.“

“What a great place. The Cellars is the section of the building where they sell a huge selection of 400-500 different bottles and cans of craft beer and cider to go. There is outdoor dining with a lush, tropical feel. We ate indoors, not too far from the bar. There were maybe two or three flatscreens with baseball games showing behind the bar. They weren’t loud or the center of attention, just afterthoughts, as this is no sports bar. The 65 taps offered many very nice selections. It’s NOT a "50 taps of junk and 15 taps of good craft beer" kind of place. My tenderloin tacos were very good and the service was excellent. The key lime pie was excellent, but then again, if you’re a restaurant in south Florida and don’t serve great key lime pie, you’re going under. I will most certainly be back since it’s less than thirty miles from home.“

“Went here for dinner a while back and just realized I hadn’t submitted a rating. It’s located in downtown Melbourne so parking was a bit of a challenge on a weekend night. The place is rather big, so the name is fitting, with pretty much something for everyone. They’ve got a huge patio area on the top level (which is where we were) but also plenty of indoor seating. Interestingly, there’s a "cellar" on site acting as a bottle shop that not only has a good selection of bottles but includes cheeses, deli goods, and other interesting to go items. The food wasn’t spectacular but plenty solid; the draft lineup had enough to choose from and was actually quite impressive; the vibe on the patio overlooks part of the water and is relaxing and a lot of fun. If the sun is out, and it’s not too hot, I’d definitely recommend the top patio area. I’m not in this area much anymore but this a place I wouldn’t mind going back to if given the chance.“

“Follows the Total Wine concept. Lots of singles, there is more beer available than elsewhere in Brevard County, especially on domestic choices. I was told that the selection would improve once state distributors ramp up. Store just open, so I can’t say anything about their classes. The prices are ok, I haven’t notice anything really cheaper than you can find at Downtown Produce.“

“A great local place. They have over 60 beers available on tap, the only concern there is that some may linger a little longer than they should. The food is usually pretty good and they have a friendly wait staff. The daily specials start at 5:00PM and are generally unique and pretty good. Standard fare off the menu is also pretty good. The kids menu is basic and not published (you have to ask the server - grilled cheese, chicken fingers, which are phenomenal, and a kid-sized cheeseburger). One of these days my wife and I will make it over without the kiddos so we can sit up on the roof top and over-look the river. A good stop and great value.“

“In the strip mall not hard to find and was not sure what we would find. We found a brew pub with a BBQ habit. They got some pretty tasty beer and the BBQ was to die for. Not the first pick on my list but it will do. Service was a tad off but when she saw me rating oh then the service got better. Oh well they got beer so try it if in the area.“

“Visited 2/2011. For the area where Charlie and Jake’s is, this is a great little brew pub. They are at the end of a strip mall plaza with the brewery on display and usually a brewer on hand to answer questions. The beer has some solid offerings, and some seasonal and unique beers, too. They had the oak aged saison and the smokehouse stout on when I visited along with the regular lineup. People were nice, pretty beer knowledgeable, and some of the friendliest people I have talked to. I will be back whenever I am around. For a $4 sampler of beers, and some above average bbq, this is a great spot.“
