Bitterbill (3241) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - JUL 31, 2016
Howler style. It pours a clear gold, smallish and short lived head of foam. The smell has citrus, pepper, an overall spicy soaked aroma which also includes a bit of clove and funk and light pitted fruits. The taste is peppery with lots of citrus that imparts some fruity bitterness. Cloves are there, light pitted fruits, some funky notes. Slick mouthfeel and an easy drinking Saison, this is nice.

Pours a surprisingly clear straw yellow... Good white head... long lasting.. great lacing. The aroma seems very middle of the road... which is okay.. light dried fruits.. and light spicy phenols... dried apricot... fresh pears... hints of clove and a bit of peppercorn... Flavor has all of the above... but it is very refreshing... palate cleansing... peppery (grains of paradise?) ... pear and some mild white peach.... hints of dried apricot.. Body is a little too thick for the style, but the carbonation tries to make up for it... effervescent.... prickly.. Love that this is so clean and NOT overpowering. Well done.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where there’s an opaque paper gold sort of body that supports a thin bright white head. The aroma is nice and yeasty and then it moves into spicy yeast notes mixed with malty esters that seem a tad banana like. The taste delivers big yeasty spice notes that get into some wheat malts and a pleasing grainy breadiness. I like this blend of flavors as it also has an edge of crispness and a pleasing balance.

Capped 2014 750 from the brewpub. Pours hazy orange gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus/earthy, even seems to hint at bretty. Med body or so. Flavor seems a little orange, goes for brett, then goes to a very nice fruity finish polished by some earthy/brett flavor. Very well done.

2011 bomber from the brewery. Pours cloudy apricot gold with a very foamy white head. Tastes like yeasty, bready sourness, light cheese flavor. Medium body and low carbonation. Smells like creamy yeast, slightly sweet and slightly sour. Delicious.

beerbill (3673) - Laurel, New York, USA - JUL 5, 2013
On draught at the brewpub. Arrived a lightly hazed gold with a thin white head that lasted through the first two sips and left no lace. Pleasant aroma of fruity Belgian yeast. The flavor is mild malt and fruity Belgian yeast. Mild bitterness at the finish and dries out quite a bit at the end. Medium bodied.
